Karl opened his eyes slowly on hearing his name. He then regained complete consciousness and heard Rina calm his name. He quickly turned on the lamp and turned towards Rina.
"B-baby, are you okay?" He asked and she quickly shook her head.
"It's kicking Karl, it's kicking!-"
"Shhhh! It's midnight-"
" How the fuck do you expect me to- aaahh! Karl!"
" Hang on" he said as he got up from the bed and went towards the drawer to get his keys.
"Come on" he said as he tried helping her up from the bed.
"Shhhh, it's okay" he said "it's okay, walk slowly"
He led her slowly downstairs.
"Olivia!" Karl called once they were downstairs and she quickly stepped out from her room.
"Oh my, she's putting to bed?" She asked.
"Shut the fuck up and help me take her out" he said.
" Aaghh! K-karl-"
" Hang on tight, go in" he said as they put her at the back seat of the car with Olivia.
Karl quickly entered the driver's seat and drove off.
Karl quickly stopped at rina's workplace and walked out. He opened the door and then helped her out with Olivia.
" Karl don't leave me" she said holding his hand tight when they came to take her.
" I'm right here waiting for you, okay? Don't panic. You can do it-"
"Stay with me please" she said.
"Rina you have to go now, I'll be right here. Do it for me, okay? For us. Now go" he said as he slowly removed her grip from his hand. The staff then took her away on the wheel chair.
Karl let out a huge nervous sigh as he looked at them take her.
He slowly sat down on the bench in thoughts.
"Your phone" Olivia said while holding his phone but he ignored her as he was in deep thoughts. He then raised his head and looked at her.
"Why're you standing?" He asked.
"I don't feel like sitting" she said.
"Sit" he said looking somewhere else. Olivia then slowly sat down.
Just then, the receptionist came in with a form and a pen.
"Good evening Sir" the lady said.
"Yeah" he said collecting the form.
" You can pay the price after the birth sir. Doctor Marina is one of our best here" she said smiling and Karl just nodded as he slowly wrote down their names.
