Rina was with maya playing scrabble when Karl opened the door and came in.
"Glad you're here Karl, please stay with her" maya said and left.
"Wh...maya?" Rina called but she just left.
"Looks like my sister is tired of you already, finally experienced what I am going through" he said removing his watch.
"So you're tired of me?"
"Do you always take everything serious?" He asked before sitting down beside her.
"Why did you leave me?"
"I wanted to see someone"
"See who?" She asked.
"No one"
"Seriously Karl, tell me"
"Have you eaten?"
"Yeah, they forced me actually"
"Who forced you?"
"Aunt Janet"
"Good for you......"
"Good for me?"
"Yeah, why not?"
"Karl you left me even when I told you not to"
"Am sorry for that, okay"
"Sorry won't change anything"
"Fine, what should I do to compensate?" He asked getting up from the bed.
"Stay with me throughout the day" she said and he looked at her.
"Rina, I have somewhere to go to today"
"Well reschedule it, I need you today" she said and he sighed and sat down back on the bed.
"Fine, just for today" he said and she knelt down on the bed and hugged him.
"Thanks, that's why I love you" she smiled before pulling out.
"Is there any problem?" She asked him and he shook his head.
"I just have work to do and well, I can't leave you so......."
"If it's that important you can go, i will manage"
"No it's okay"
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"Yeah yeah, I am sure"
"Give me a kiss then" she said fondling his ear and neck.
She leaned in and kissed him on the lips.
"Can you tell me where you went to now?" She asked after she pulled out.
"Rina I went nowhere" he stood up and removed his jacket.
"Nowhere? Is it something that you wouldn't want me to know even if I have to know?"
"No"
"Then tell me"
"I just saw Layla, that's all"
"Seeing Layla isn't something you would want to hide from me"
"Rina can you stop arguing now"
"I am not arguing, you are the one refusing to talk to me"
"Well it's my choice to tell you or not"
"Really? So I did a good job by hiding the things about Layla from you"
"Rina, I went to see Layla, that's all"
"And how did you know where she was?" She asked but he didn't answer.
