"Thank you, you can get the medicines from the pharmacy" Rina said to a man who just stood up from the chair.
"Thank you so much doctor" the man left the office.
"Oh God, so exhausted and hungry" she rested her back on the office chair.
She was bored now, nothing to do, she just played with her pen when suddenly the door opened.
"Doctor there is someone else who wants to see you"
"Let them in" Rina said pouring in a glass of water in her cup.
"Come in sir" the nurse said and Karl stepped in.
Rina was busy searching for something in her drawer when he sat down on the chair.
"Good morning doctor" Karl said.
"Yeah good mor....." she halted and slowly looked at him.
"Karl?" She smiled.
"So unprofessional of you, what're you looking for?" He looked at her hand which was still in the drawer.
"Nothing just a pain reliever"
"Why? You're sick?" He furrowed his brows.
"No, just have a headache"
"Sorry, got food for you, take it before the medicine" he dropped the bags on the table.
"Really? Thank you" she smiled at the bags and began opening them.
"Ooh noodles" she brought out the plate. Then she saw a bottle of fruit drink and a can of water.
"Thank you, like you read my mind, I am so hungry" she opened the plate and dug in.
Karl watched her, he couldn't help but smile at this interesting view. She didn't even finish chewing the other ones before eating another spoon.
Rina glanced at Karl smiling at her and halted.
"Why're you smiling?" She said with food in her mouth.
He shook his head and rested his back on the chair.
"Have you always been this cute?" He asked her and she smiled.
"What do you mean?" She asked facing back her noodles.
"You didn't even bother to call me" Karl said playing with the pens on the table.
"You are the one who is meant to call me, I was busy"
"Really? Okay it was my fault like it is always it"
"Yeah you're always wrong and am right" she closed the plate, in just few minutes the full plate of hot noodles was gone.
"Thank you so much for the food"
"That's all?" Karl raised a brow.
"Yes, anything else?"
"You should thank me in a better way, maybe give me something"
"Something like what?"
"Like....." he moved his index fingers to his lips and she quickly shook her head.
"Karl not here, if someone walked in then"
"It's my first time seeing you since today and you're telling me not here?"
"Come on, we're not at home, this is just......."
"Fine, goodbye, see you later" he stood up from the chair.
Now she felt bad for him, why does he have to leave now.
"Alright alright don't leave" Rina stood up and walked to him.
Karl halted and turned. "Why shouldn't I leave?"
"Because uhm, I think I just like your company" she said putting her arms around his neck.
"My company?" He looked at her and she smiled.
"Mhm" raising her toes, she brushed her lips against his. He held her waist tightly closer to him.
"Karl promise me you will stop when I do, someone might walk in"
"Fine" he said and she slightly tilted her head and kissed him.
They kissed again and when it became hotter the door quickly opened and they both left each other quickly.
"Uhm, should I come later?" A nurse asked.
"No no, come now, you need anything?" Rina asked.
"Yes, Doctor Jasmine asked for you"
"Okay, I will be there, thank you" the nurse left and Rina got relieved.
She quickly hit Karl on the chest.
"Ouch, what happened?"
"What happened, I told you to stop when I stop"
"Why are you blaming me? You didn't stop so i didn't"
"Ugh, now she is gonna spread it all out"
"Chill there's nothing there"
"Oh there's something there Karl because when everyone know that I was kissing you in my office then that is a big problem on its own" she said.
"Am sorry, I will leave so I won't distract you hm?" He said and pecked her on the cheeks.
"Wait Karl, why do I smell this fragrance?" She lowered her head and sniffed his jacket.
"What fragrance?"
"It's not mine" she puzzled her face.
"Maybe it's Davis'....."
"Davis will not put on such harsh perfume like girls" Rina said.
"Tell me, who were you with earlier?" Rina asked.
"No one, just Davis"
"Are you lying to me?"
"Am not, I am telling the......." Karl suddenly remembered the girls at the bar throwing theirselves at him.
"Ohh" he said not knowing how to explain to Rina now.
"Oh what? You finally remembered now huh?"
"I um, I.....how do I say it? I kind of bumped into some people at the bar"
"Bar?"
"Yes"
"You don't go to bars so why did you go there?"
"To see Davis"
"Oh okay, well I really don't know what kind of bumping that will leave fragrance on your cloth"
"Rina forget that already"
"I wasn't gonna remember it" she folded her arms.
"So, good to go?" Karl asked and she nodded.
"Okay, remember to take the drug, bye" he said and left the office.
.......
Layla was making a call in her room when Gerald walked in.
"Are you sure?"
"Okay, thank you very much, see you later" Layla ended the call and turned around only to see Gerald holding a cigarette looking at her.
"So what's up? Done anything yet?" He asked her.
"Oh my god dad I have done a lot" Layla jumped up and down.
"Like?" He asked.
"Okay first, I have done something enough to cause a rift between d and k. And also r and k. Everything will just go according to how I want it by tomorrow"
"That's Good, now tell me what do you wanna gain from this?"
"Two things, Karl's trust and the ability to reach his money"
"Really? But we are okay"
"Not okay, I still need more, I just want to be so big and proud of myself when I look at other people. Daddy I want to live like a queen. Do you see the way he pampers Rina? I wish I am her"
"Okay, anyways, good luck, can't wait to see the scene tomorrow" Gerald smiled and left.
