This one is for the grieving.

A/N: Hello!

I'm alive!

Wow.

I'm so sorry.

I don't know how to talk about the very, very strange working process that was this update, so I'm going to point you to the side blog, if you are curious about that. <3 I'm going to take a week off before starting on the next update. After this chapter, we'll be heading into the four part finale (plus an epilogue). (That is, perhaps, why this chapter ended up so long.) For everyone who's been heading along this journey with me--please take my warmest internet hug. <3 <3 <3

First: Thank you so much for the lovely kindness and encouragement, both on the last update, and in the time since. There were a number of times when I was feeling a bit discouraged about the drafting and editing process, and you all lifted my spirits. <3 <3 Thank you for being here and for taking the time to read. <3 <3 <3

Next: ***This update is 120k words, and AO3 will not let me post it in a single chapter, so I've split it in thirds.***

I've also broken it into five internal parts to aid with navigation [marked by a "###"], but I will warn you that the first couple are longer [40k or so] and take up their entire chunk. The last of the thirds is about the same length, but has three internal "sections."

I highly, highly recommend reading Mollywobbles before this chapter. It's not totally necessary, but certain things will be more significant/land differently. <3

As always, I do not own the rights to this storyworld or to these characters.

While I've been editing for weeks, I'm certain that I've missed some errors. Apologies!! <3

Alright. Grab your snack (I ate many, many snacks while working on this. But I would recommend homemade bread of some sort, or maybe something from your favorite bakery. Or something comforting), your drink (I've got sparkling water, but I'd honestly recommend your favorite tea, whatever that may be [if you like, let me know in the comments!]), and your favorite cozy pyjamas/blanket.

CW [MAJOR SPOILERS]: This chapter includes some heavier themes and subjects, such as trauma, anxiety, panic, loss, and grieving. I am not a mental healthcare professional, but I've tried to treat these subjects with respect in a manner fitting our T rating. Please be kind to yourself while reading and prioritize your well being. <3 <3 <3 Additionally, pregnancy is a theme/factor throughout the chapter. The use of mind altering/state altering potions is included or discussed in a bit more detail on July 15, 10:12 p.m., July 24, 2003, 6:09 p.m., July 28, 10:10 p.m., & Aug. 3, 1:15 a.m.. Allusions to trauma impacting intimacy on July 17, 11:08 p.m., general allusion to intimacy on Aug. 3, 1:15 a.m.. Minor and Moderate CD. The chapter also includes sequences of violence that are more intense, and may be challenging for some readers (though we stay within Lumos-typical levels).

All that said, this chapter has loads oflight/happy moments too. The dark has not yet drown us, eh?
