'God will forgive you.'- that's what they told them. 'God doesn't exist.'- that's what Seulgi believed. But nobody cared what Seulgi believed in. She was the sinner- so she had to obey. That were the principles her school followed.

Irene's POV:
Twelve days. Then it's over. She had to leave everything behind her. Her dorm. Her missionary activity.
Dami.
Mina.
Irene still hadn't realized it. She couldn't take care of Dami anymore. Couldn't teach her how to survive at this school. Couldn't help her with her wounds.
She would never get the chance to relieve the pain of Mina. To share a glimpse of love Seulgi gave her. To show her the positive sides of life.
These thoughts came at the evening compline. Irene was reflecting on her day.
She had managed to poison Sister Mary and their principal. She should be proud. Everything she felt was guilt. The light feeling of power and success had gone a while ago. Now, she was just feeling terribly.
How could she actually injure people? Was she that cruel? These foxgloves could have killed them... And for what? For a stupid plan Seulgi had invented. Why had she again helped her? Because she loved that girl.
But had it been the right decision? And was she really ready to leave her friends? Irene already knew the answer.
Although she refused to agree.

The morning cornflakes tasted worse than usual. At least Irene had the impression as the gulped it, using a ton of milk to swallow it easier. She wasn't hungry at all, but Dami had told her to eat something. Lunch would be in five hours.
At 7am, two familiar faces joined them, one with short black hair, the other fragile and mousy.
"Good morning", Irene mumbled, glancing up once before facing her cornflakes again. "Good morning", Mina and Dami said in the same silent voice as they were sitting down. Ryujin said nothing.
Irene eyed the two for a short moment, then her attention drew back to her own. Ryujin had placed her hands on the table, an annoyed and frustrated expression resting on her face. Mina was busy staring at some invisible point at the edge of the table – like usually.
Silence covered them like a heavy blanket, gradually building up an awkward tension. Hadn't Ryujin been so overexcited yesterday? How did it come that she wasn't talking now?
"I HATE IT."
Irene flinched.
Some students watched them.
Mina almost fell from the bench.
"Calm down", the latter said with a shaky voice, her hands lying on Ryujin's thigh. Irene could see how she rubbed her thumb over the tights like she wanted to comfort her dorm member. Ryujin sighed.
