Gain the trust of possible useful people

Seulgi's POV:

If Seulgi would had to choose which schedule point she preferred the most, she would have probably picked the breakfast. The soft chattering that filled the room, the sound of spoons touching the white plates, the unusual calmness that lingered the air.

Tired eyes that stared down, unfocussed and still half in their dreams. Everybody would have rather stayed in bed than eating a piece of toast or cereals. But this was no choice. It had never been a choice.

When Seulgi opened her eyes, she always got this friendly 'Good morning Seulgi', from her dorm-member who was already fully dressed up and ready for the morning prayer in the chapel.

Like every day, Seulgi closed her eyes again and wished to return to the dream land where everything would be fine. Where she felt safe and loved.

Rosé would take out her book and skim over the small written verses. The bible had always been her first choice in the morning. Seulgi would mentally roll her eyes, since she thought the girl exaggerated a bit.

It was always like that.

A minute later – she had never gotten the chance to go back to sleep – Rosé would sharply close her book and approach her bed to remind her of the morning prayer.

Seulgi would never attend voluntarily, but she knew the consequences. And even if she always moved her mouth without actually saying something, she was still glad not be in the Punishments instead of.

She would then get up and choose something to wear – it was basically a choice between a black or blue tie - and would get dressed up. It didn't take her longer than ten minutes.

"Have you finished?", Rosé asked her in a formal tone and raised both eyebrows. Seulgi noticed the excitement in her voice. She sighed and nodded.

Seulgi and Rosé were completely the opposite. Strict religious met atheistic realism. Sometimes it was a challenge for both of them. Although Seulgi had never talked about her thoughts regarding the catholic church, she assumed that Rosé at least knew that she wasn't interested in Jesus.

Seulgi maybe got a façade but wasn't built out of stone. And Rosé wasn't as naïve as a newborn child.

"Can we leave then?", she placed her hand on top of the door handle and waited again. Seulgi stood up and nodded another time.

"Yes, we can go."

She followed Rosé the whole way down the corridor, getting into the mass of students who were probably also on their way to the morning prayer. Seulgi shifted her gaze over the people surrounding her.
