The dealership was closed on Sundays which meant that Parker was not roused out of bed at six o'clock in the morning. But he was shocked to discover that his father had allowed him to sleep until ten in the morning.

Parker laved and then went in search of his father wondering what they were going to do today. He hoped that he was not planning on keeping him in his room all day. But had a feeling that was exactly what he was going to do.

He walked down the steps and could hear laughter coming down the hall from the kitchen.  His father had company this morning. He wondered who it could be.

Parker walked into the kitchen and blinked blinked when he saw who was sitting with his father.

"There he is." Rodger said. "Good morning dad."

"Good morning." He then looked at his father's guest. "Hi Spenser."

"Hi Parker." Spenser Cole stood six four, was husky built, and his thick black hair was tied back in a pony tail.

Why is he here Parker wondered. Not to see me.

"Are you hungry?" Rodger asked.

"Yeah." He said as he looked at his brother.

"We got cereal and oatmeal if you want to fix yourself something." Rodger said.

"Okay."

He walked over to the cabinet and pulled out a box of cereal as Spenser said. "I spoke with mom last night."

"Did you now." Parker said apathetically.

"Yes." Spenser said. "She asked how you were doing."

"Like you would know." Parker muttered.

It was Spenser's turn to blink. He looked at his father who took a sip of his coffee. He had expected him to scold Parker but his only response was "So what did you say?"

"That he was doing well."  He then saw Parker rub his backside. He realized he was not doing as well as he thought. "She said she will call you to tonight."

"Okay." Parker said less enthused as he poured milk into his cereal. He then grabbed a soda.

"No sir." Rodger said. "You are not having soda first thing in the morning."

"Yes dad." Parker placed the soda back in the fridge and then got out the orange juice.

"I always had soda for breakfast." Spenser smirk.

Yeah that is why you had obesity problems when your were his age Rodger thought.

"Well Parker doesn't." Rodger said.

Parker put the orange juice back in the fridge and then asked "May I go eat in my room."

"That would be fine." Rodger said.

"Thanks." Parker said. "Spenser." He then walked out.

"I see you are still spanking him." Spenser said.

"Only when he deserves it." Rodger replied.

Spenser shrugged. "He does not like me very much does he."

"He does not see you very much." Rodger said. "You never paid him much attention."

"Well excuse me for having my own life." Spenser said defensively.

"I am not judging you for not being in his life." Rodger calmly said. "All I am saying is don't judge him for not being excited about seeing you."

"Fair enough." Spenser said. "So why did you ask me over?"

"I need a favor." Rodger said. He could tell his son was not happy to hear that.

"What?"

"I have an errand to run and I need you to watch Parker for me." Rodger said.

Spenser then laughed "I'm sorry."

"I need you to watch Parker for me this afternoon." Rodger said.

"You can't be serious." Spenser said.

"I am son." Rodger said.

"Dad he's sixteen." Spenser said in disbelief. He looked at his father as if he was crazy.

"I know how he is." Rodger said. "But I can't trust him right now."

"You can't trust him to be by himself for a few hours."  He said incredulous. "You use to leave me alone for an entire weekend when I was his age."

"Yes I did." Rodger took another sip of his coffee.  "And how did that work out?" He asked. "A out of control party that resulted in thousands of dollars of property damage and a bunch of angry neighbors and parents upset because their kids came home drunk."

"That was an awesome party."  Rodger glared at him and his smile evaporated. "Come on dad Parker is not going to throw a party on a Sunday afternoon."

"I know." Rodger said. "But I can't trust him not to do something as equally stupid." He then rolled his eyes.

"Can't you just take him with you?"

"No." Rodger shook his head. "I would if I could but I can't." He then said "Can you watch him for me? It will be just for three hours."

"No." He said emphatically. "I'm busy."

Rodger gave him a skeptical look. "Doing what?"

"Stuff."

"Well he can help you." Rodger said.

"And if he does not help me what do you expect me to do?" Spenser asked. "Put him over my lap and spank him?"

"I assure you it will not come to that." He said but Spenser gave him a skeptical look. "But if it does I will take care of it myself." He did not look convinced. "Please do this for me Spenser." He pleaded. "I really need your help."

"Fine." Spenser sighed.

"Now excuse me while I go tell him."

A few minutes later in Parker's room.

"What!" Parker said loudly. "No, I am not going with him."

"Yes you are, Parker." He said in a ominous tone. "You are going with your brother and you are going to behave yourself." He stepped closer to him. "You understand me?"

Parker looked away and said something under his breath.

"I'm sorry I couldn't hear you."

He looked at him and said curtly "Yes, dad."

Rodger placed his hand on his shoulder. "Thank you." He pulled his hand back. "Now get ready."

"Yes, dad."

Forty minutes later he arrived at Spenser's house. The drive was silent as neither attempted to engage in conversation. Parker just sat in the car quietly listening to IPOD wishing that he was anywhere but there.

Except for the car lot. He was glad not to be going back there.

They walked into the house where he was greeted by Spenser's wife who looked just as happy about his presence as Spenser was. He then got to say hi to his two nephews and his neice who he barely ever see.

Parker was then taken to a guest room. "Have a seat."  Parker sat on the bed. "I look I may have agreed to bring you here but I don't have time or the energy to deal with you."

"What else new?"

"You are going to stay in here out of sight and out of our way you understand."

"Yes, Spenser." He said giving him a hateful look.

"And watch your attitude or I will tell dad that you have been a disrespectful brat."

Parker said nothing and Spenser walked out.

Parker laid on the bed hoping that his dad would come back soon.
