Rodger and Parker arrived at the house after four o'clock to pick up Parker. They had left their car behind and borrowed one of the dealership's mini vans. Parker wondered what Mister FitzSimmons would think about them using one of the vans to move Carson out of his house. But he guessed that now his dad was dating the boss' daughter he probably had very little to worry about.

The two entered the house and Rodger called out to Carson letting him know they were there. He then saw the suitcases and told Parker to take them out to the van. Parker grabbed two suitcases walked them out.

Once he was out Carson walked into the living room. "You ready?"

"Yes, sir." He said.

Rodger noticed the melancholy expression across his face and somber tone in his voice. "What's wrong?"

"My parents got me fired." Carson told him trying to surpress the anger he was feeling not wanting another explosion of cuss words to launch his mouth. Moving out of his parent's house was going to be hard enough he did not want to do it with a sore bottom.

Then again Rodger would probably wait until we got back to spank me.

Either way I want to avoid getting my backside beat he mused. That's the whole reason I wanted to stay with him in the first place. To lessen my chances of being spanked.

"What?" Rodger said. "How?"

"How what?" Parker who just walked back in to get a couple more suitcases said.

"My parents got me fired." He then told him about their friends calling his work to make phony complaints about them.

"I'm so sorry man." Parker said. "What jerks." He then braced himself for the scolding from his father that he was sure was coming.

"Petty, toxic jerks." A frustrated Rodger said. He could not believe that he was once considered these people his friends. That he foolishly believed there good parents.

"I just can't believe they did this." He ran his fingers through his hair. "What am I going to do now?"

Rodger was about to say something only for Parker to beat him to it. "Its going to be okay Carson." Parker said in an assuring tone. "Don't you fret my dad is going to help you find another job." Parker looked at his father. "Right dad?"

"Right." Rodger said. "We have an opening for a parts associate. I'll talk to my parts manager Jasper tomorrow and have him give you a call."

"Really?"

"Yes, really." Rodger placed his hand on his shoulder.

"I think you will like working for my more anyway."

"I think you're right." He then asked What about my parents?"

"Forget them." Rodger said. "Put them out of your mind and let me worry about them."  He then squeezed his shoulder.

"Okay."

"Now why don't you take the rest of the suitcases out and wait for us in the car."

"Yes sir." Carson grabbed the suitcases and then walked out.

"Come here." He said to Parker. He placed both hands on his shoulders. "I was disappointed in you earlier but I very proud of you right now." He then kissed him on the top of the head. "You did good."

"Thank you."

Rodger gave his son an approving smile and the two headed out.

Forty minutes later they arrived at the Mayhew residence.  Carson felt a rush of emotion as he looked at the house. He could not believe he this was actually happening.  It almost seemed like a dream.

If this is a dream then I never want to wake up Carson.

A knock on the window startled him. He looked to see Rodger and Parker standing by the car waiting for him. He had been so lost in thought he did not notice that they had gotten out of the car.

Carson opened the door and sheepishly said "Sorry."

"Its okay." Rodger said as he got out. "Let's get the bags."

Two more cars then pulled into the driveway. Rodger smiled as his eyes met with Miranda's who responded with a smile of her own.  The two got of out the car and Rodger walked over to her giving her a passionate kiss. One that made both Cyrus and Parker a tad uncomfortable.

Rodger pulled back and said "Thanks again for helping with this."

"My pleasure." Miranda said looking lovingly into his eyes.

He then noticed the uncomfortable looking Cyrus. "Thank you too buddy."

Cyrus gave a slight nod and thought you can thank me by never kissing my mom like that in front of me again.

Cyrus grabbed a pack of boxes from the back of the car.

"Need a hand." Kenny said as he walked over to him.

Cyrus handed him the back of boxes and then grabbed another.

"Kenny." Rodger said. "This is Carson, Carson this Kenny he is one of the lot boys."

"Nice to meet you Kenny." Carson said sticking his hand out.

"You too."

Another car then pulled up and Chris the finance manager and his wife got of their. The sound of motorcycle filled the air and Carson watched as Jubbs pulled up on the lawn.

That is going to tick my dad off he thought.  Good.

"Let's head in." Rodger said thinking with the nine of them they should be done in no time.

They turned to walk to the house when the white car and green van pulled up in front of the house. Several large men jumped from the vehicles.

"Carson Mayhew." A man with coal black and intense grey eyes said as they loomed closer. "You need to come with us son."

Carson stood frozen, his heart pounding in his chest and his breath becoming labored. He looked at Rodger and two words filled his mind.

Help me.
