"COME ON RAYMOND, I'M not feeling this track at all, like at all. I can't feel anything I'm singing, and it's not even my material. Why can't we use those? Andre has already approve to some of it that I want on the album." Milani asked for what seemed like the umpteenth time of the entire night. She looked at the man for even the slightest amount of sympathy, but it was clear that she wasn't getting it out of him.

"I ain't Andre. I'm the engineer, and I'm the only one who gets the say so in what gets produced on my soundboard. And we're not worried about the album yet, we're worried about this single, you feel my drift? Alright." He argued back before focusing back on the soundboard. Milani hadn't even been at the record label for a good week yet, and she was already experiencing trouble.

But as far as she was concerned, she'd done nothing nor said anything wrong. It was the stubborn engineer that her father assigned her to at the recording studio, until Teddy Riley, Al B. Sure!, or Heavy D came back from touring, stating he'd be the best option, and Milani wasn't seeing that one bit. He hardly even, not even, would let Milani have any of the slightest input she had with her music, and it annoyed her to the core.

It was currently almost striking eleven at night, and Milani had spent most of her day in the studio. Usually, being that it was Halloween night, she'd be out partying with friends and her older sister at a party they'd get invited to, or rather just stayed home and watched scary movies with her trio of best friends. But that had changed, and she was now in the studio, recording her first professional record. Well, at least attempted to. She wasn't the one to complain, but Raymond, was somebody she could complain about.

They'd spent almost half of their studio session rather Milani watching as Raymond tried to take different routes at the beat he came up with, or they were arguing because they couldn't put anything together. She wished she could've just went along with having DeVantè produce her record, which he offered to anyway.

"I'm taking up on the guessing that you're not so sure on what producer to choose on producing your record. So I thought I'd come to you, and say, I wanna produce your first track. Teddy and Heavy D aren't here, which was who you were probably going for . ." A smile crept upon Milani's face as she nodded her head.

"I'm okay with that, I'd have to take it up upon my dad about it but I'll let you know."

"I mean, this is my music. Shouldn't I have the right to place any input I have regarding my music?" She asked, crossing her arms her rib cage. Raymond simply ignored her ranting, attempting to fix at his beat, Milani sighed as she watched it continue to be unsuccessful. "It's not going to work out, Raymond, I'm telling you. Why can't we just start off from scratch-"
