Doctor Lawson informed, pointing the super tiny human plastered on the screen.
"The arms and legs on your soon to be baby, are also spontaneously moving now that the minuscule muscles are beginning to develop, though you won't be able to feel your little dancer until another month or two." Milani beamed of joy, the brim of her eyes lacing in tears.
"Of course, this isn't your first rodeo anymore so I'm sure you've remembered what foods to stay away from, and the steps to keep your pregnancy safe and healthy, correct?" He recalled, Milani instantly nodded.
"Alright, your baby is the size of a grape at the moment. I'll go ahead and grab ahold of your paperwork, while you get dressed. Would you like come with me, Malia?" He asked, holding his hand. She looked over at Milani, who nodded and plastered a soft smile on her canvas. She immediately hopped off Quik's lap, running over to Doctor Lawson and grabbed his hand, exiting out the door leaving the two parents alone.
"I've gotta give my mom and Jackie a photo of this." He beamed, examining the small ultrasound pictures. "What do you think it's gonna be, baby?" She asked, fixing her bodycon dress. It was the start of December, and it was still the normal California weather, sunny and warm.
"I think another girl, I feel it. What about you?" He assured her, touching on his chest. "I feel like it's gonna be a boy this time around, and a girl at the same time. I can't make up my mind. I was emotional with Melly, and I'm even more now so that makes me believe I'm having a girl. But I'm insanely nauseous this time around and I'm carrying very low so I believe it's a boy too."
"We should have a gender reveal . . ." He suggested, Milani nodded her head. "I think so too, I didn't get to do much with Melly since I wanted her pregnancy to be as private as possible, plus I was pissed off at her father and told him to tell me the gender." The two laughed before the door opened back up.
"Mommy, look what I got!" Malia exclaimed, holding onto a sticker and a miniature kit-kat bar. "Aw, Doctor Lawson gave that to you, baby?" She cooed, running her hand over her head as she nodded. "Yes, and he show me baby."
