AFTER THE DRAINING YEAR Milani and DeVante had endured, the month of December had officially rolled around, and the two were the utter most happy about it for many things than one — but more so, one they were entirely looking forward to experiencing soon.

Jodeci had finally released their sophomore album, Diary Of A Mad Band, two days ago and just like DeVante had predicted, the album sales were going through the roof due to Christmas following in the same week. Even though, the album hadn't experience full promotion ahead of time due to Andre's lack of attention towards the group, it was still successful at the end.

Currently, Cry For You had hit number fifteen on the U.S. BillBoard Hot 100, number five on the U.S. Rhythmic Top 40, and number one on the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. The group was soon to head on the road for four months straight starting in second week of January giving DeVanté just little time with his newborn daughter when she was born.

Milani was surely on edge about him leaving on the road so soon as DeVanté was too. So on edge, he didn't even want to attend the tour for the first month. But Milani assured that she'd visit or even join them whenever she felt safe traveling with little Malia.

Andre was also on Milani's tail about her releasing another project as if Milani in the process of being in another movie wasn't enough. John Singleton had got into contact with Milani about her joining a musical film that adapted the Broadway musical, Dreamgirls. The entire movie wasn't established entirely yet, but Milani, Whitney Houston, Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx were the ones to be surely casted.

As for Milani, in the music business? The fans weren't going to expect any music from her until the end of 1994 — due to the fact that Milani wanted to record a Christmas album, or early 1995 — which she was originally to be set to. She wanted to spend the year to spend time with Malia, and create a new image for herself. A better and improved Milani was what she was reaching for.

Michael Bivins did release the song she did with Boyz II Men and it was gaining lots of positive reviews from her and their fans. Unfortunately, there hadn't been a music video for it just yet since they didn't want Milani to be under the weather after since their idea was to film it in the snow for a more romantic holiday feel. But the fans were sure to have a music video next year.

"My question is, why do they always seem to leave that kid at the house? Didn't they learn from the last time?" K-Ci asked as he had his eyes glued to the television. It was two days before Christmas, and the gang were spending the holidays together. On Christmas Day, Milani and DeVante's family were to fly out to spend the week up until the start of January with them.
