manhattan general hospital ━━━ manhattan, new york !

MILANI WALKED THROUGH the light hallway of Manhattan General Hospital, scanning each and every door until she came across the one she was searching for. Patients and nurses passed by her, simply greeting her while a couple patients asked for pictures, which she surely obliged by.

Meeting with the room designated for her to enter, she knocked on it a few times before opening it. She seen Tupac laying out on the bed while Afeni sat on his bedside, engaging in conversation.

"Hey . . ." Milani trailed off, making her presence known in the room. Afeni smiled widely, raising from her chair before engulfing her into a warm hug. "Hey, honey. How are you? I haven't seen you in quite a while."

"I know, and I'm sorry about that. It's just been very hectic these past couple months, and I'm sorry it's under such circumstance like this. But, how are you-uh, doing Pac?" She asked, walking over to his bedside.

She embraced him into a soft hug, holding onto his free hand as Afeni brought out a chair for her. "What can I say? Feeling better than ever." He shrugged, Milani examined over his body. He had a hefty heavy bandage wrapped around his hand, his head, but his lower half was covered by the blanket so she couldn't see much. He looked in good shape, but she knew mentally, he was fucking himself up.

A day after he'd gotten shot, Tupac had checked himself out of the Bellevue Hospital Center against doctors orders. That day, Tupac had attended his court hearing where he'd been acquitted of counts of sodomy and the association gun charges.

After that, Tupac kept his word and decided to not attend anymore court hearings until his health was in correct order for when he served time, which he was sure to have been given soon.

"Yeah, you say that as you're laying in a hospital bed with multiple gunshot wounds." She shook her head, sitting down in the chair. Tupac looked at her face, there were heavy bags underneath her eyes, she had looked sick. He could tell she wasn't catching up on sleep, he knew it and he felt it.

"How's the album going? Are you excited to step back into the spotlight? The world misses you and that talent." He asked, attempted to sit up in the best of his ability. "Yeah, I am. It's been a long break . . . I feel like this was for the best, but getting back out there on stage would be even better, you know? But have you thought about joining me during the Superbowl?"
