"ALRIGHT MILANI, THEY wantyou on the set in fifteen for your last scene!" Milani heard her father call out from the other side of her grey dressing room door. Today was a very hectic day for Milani and her team.
The night of Halloween, Milani and DeVanté managed to knock out another two songs, Naughty Girl and Crazy In Love with her best friend, Tupac featured in it. The song was to be one of her three singles she'd place out before her debut album was released early next year.
They began to film the music video in Downtown Los Angeles, and it was be premiered on the MTV Jams Video Countdown within the latest of two weeks or less. She was also set to preform for a charity event Uptown and MCA Records were holding at the Pier Seventeen for the Children's Health Fund in New York City later in the day.
Milani chose among many locations to take a trip to Los Angeles, California and she was overly amazed with the environment. It wasn't pretty within some parts, but she still cherished the moment. It wasn't much different from New York, but it was something more different than Corpus Christi, Texas, and it was something she most definitely had to get used to.
She'd spent one of her three days in LA, exploring the city with Sean, who went by Puffy or Puff Daddy now, JoJo and K-Ci, Dalvin and DeVanté along with one of Milani's bestest friend, Kennedy who was shooting a music video with Michael Jackson for his song, In The Closet.
With the two weeks of being at Uptown Records, Milani found herself growing a tight bond with the members of Jodeci and Mary J. Blige. She was able to be introduced to her favorite male group, Guy, and one of her favorite record producer, Teddy Riley, who offered to produce some her tracks off her album which made her the happiest.
But for the past few days, before arriving to LA, she spent most of her time in the studio with DeVanté and Teddy Riley, working on their album if they weren't off doing their own business thing. Milani was amazed by the way they both worked together, that she established them to be the executive producers for her album.
She felt like DeVanté within the two weeks of being with her, he knew and was fully aware of her voice, what matched and what didn't match. That alone, topped his label in being a music genius to her to the highest standard.
She was currently on the set of her last scene which was to be another small choreography scene up-top on one of the highest buildings in the city. She fixed herself up in the mirror, as her sister did as well behind her. She wore a mix-matched orange and pink dress that reached just below her bottom with dark purple outlines, exposing most of her body.
