AFTER ALL, IT INDEED WAS notan April Fool's joke, and Milani was getting situated in her trailer for tonight's kick off show for MC Hammer's Too Legit To Quit Tour in Tampa, Florida. The stadium held a capacity of 20,000 people, and each and every seat was taken to see the star artist and its opening acts. It was four times as more packed than her first ever concert at Pier Seventeen just over five months ago.
She hadn't been able to physically see her cousin just yet due to the fact that she was stuck in her trailer for the entire day getting ready. But she hoped to see him after her set, or at least before the night was over.
"How're you feeling, princess? First ever tour, should be a big deal for you." She heard her father asked, watching as she got herself pampered for the show that was to have her on in just little under forty minutes. "I'm nervous, there's a lot of people out there. I just don't want to disappoint them. Yeah, I've preformed in front of crowds of people, but they've never been this big before, ever. The biggest crowd was 5,000." She stressed, wiping her sweaty hands onto her grey sweatpants.
Kevin, her new hairstylist had just finished with her hair, allowing it to sit bone straight to her back. She had a lot of hair, and it took almost half the day to straighten it.
"You'll be okay, all this anxiety you have will be away once you hit that stage, like it always does." He said before he was interrupted by two knocks on the trailer door. He opened it slightly, showing LeftEye and Chilli, who were sweating, which wasn't a surprise due to the energy they gave during their forty minute set.
"Hey, hey, hey!" LeftEye exclaimed, passing by De'Marcus who hadn't even let the girls in. Chilli quickly apologized for her friends' actions before he allowed her to slip herself inside as well, and he left the trailer to find Puffy.
"Oh hey guys, how was your set? Where's T?" She asked, soothing out her baggy camouflage pants that had a bright yellow bikini top to match with it. "It was amazing! The crowd is soo energetic, it's crazy. They knew all the words, some even knew our dances which were surprising. But T, she's still out there, watching Dalvin preform — you know that's her little man or whatever." The three of them laughed at the inside joke they all shared within each other to tease T-Boz.
She didn't mind it though, she knew that's how they all were, which made them connect so fast within each other. Chilli had unexpectedly warmed up to Milani quicker than she had ever had with anybody before. She couldn't explain it, but she felt herself and comfortable in Milani's presence. Which is what Milani always wanted others to feel when being around her.
