BRINGING IN THE NEW year of ninety five, the year long awaited break was officially over for Milani and she was now closed to the minute where she'd step back into the spotlight at the Superbowl XXIX against the San Francisco 49ers and the San Diego Chargers, Milani being the solo star headliner.
Being that Milani was the headliner of the Halftime show, the game had scored one of the highest crowd rankings in Superbowl history. The last time it had happened was when Michael Jackson was the headliner in nineteen ninety three.
Milani was able to watch majority of the game in the crowds, watching as Damon scored the 49ers's their first touchdown of the night, which he in-surely dedicated to his beloved, Kennedy. The night was all about her in Milani and Damon's eyes, as it was all she ever talked about before she had passed away.
"The day has finally come, you ready?" Tupac grinned widely, looking between the game on the television and Milani examining her attire in the wide mirror. As the opening look, Milani had wore a black leather cropped jacket with exaggerated shoulders and a asymmetrical collar with dramatic winged cuffs that were paired with a micro-mini asymmetrical wrapped skirt made of nylon, metal, silk and plastic — in which Milani had design herself.
Underneath, Milani had wore a black leather bodysuit reminiscent of warrior armor. Strips of engineered python, paneled iguana, and trapunto-pick stitched leather were sewn together in contrast to the flounce skirt and insets in delicate black Chantilly lace in areas where skin can be seen. She paired the entire outfit with long black socks that reached to right below her knees and a pair of heeled boots. Within the next couple years or decades, the outfit would go down to be one of Milani's best and legendary outfits in throughout her career.
"No, this is my first ever show that's being broadcasted live. I'm afraid I'm going to mess up in front of over seventy thousand people." Milani frowned, before her eyes adverted to Tupac, who shook his head.
"I don't know why you stress so much when you know once you hit that stage, everything you've stressed about will be gone. You got this, M. And so what if you mess up? I'm sure Michael, Whitney, all of them legends have messed up a couple times that hasn't stopped 'em from doing what they love, right? You shake it off and let the show go on."
Milani couldn't say anything else besides nod, letting the words sink in. Her fans loved her, showed her absolutely nothing but unconditional love and support. And other celebrity indeed messed up at least once throughout their set during a show, everyone wasn't perfect.
