IT WAS THE END OF Milani's debut tour, and she was happy but sad to say the least. She loved traveling around the different cities and being able to explore them. But she couldn't wait to step back into the studio and work on her sophomore album — which DeVanté was producing, so it wasn't a question from anyone.

He knew her sound, entirely. He knew what fit her, and what didn't. Her sound and vision for her music wasn't like the others which was difficult for other producers to work with. But for DeVanté, it was nothing. Again, the musical genius.

"Look, Pernell looked out for me, okay? If it wasn't for him — no, listen! Listen, if it wasn't for him, my black ass would be dead by now." Tyrin spoke, holding onto Milani's arm as she tried to jerk back from it. "You know what? Fuck Pernell! Because you don't owe him shit! Alright? You need to be glad that you graduated from high school, and that you're alive at eighteen, and you need to do something with yourself before you end up like he did." She grabbed her arm from his embrace, pointing her finger into his chest.

"I'm not gon' end up like he did, ight?" He stated, Milani's eyes widen at the fake statement. "Oh really?" She asked, placing her hands on her hips, and licking her lips.

"Yeah, why you trippin'? I mean, you act like you was never down. What's up with that?" His eyebrows furrowed harshly as he stared deep into Milani's facial complexion. "Caine, it's not even about being down, alright? I have a little son to look after, and you know what's really sad? Is that I look at you, and you remind me of how Pernell used to be."

They carried on with the scene before it was officially over and Tyrin left the room. "And cut! Wonderful job from the both of you. That's a wrap for today, hope to see you all Thursday morning at four!" Allen called out through the megaphone, Milani released a heavy exhale before heading to her dressing room.

As Milani thought she'd be the studio, that was the last place she spent her time in. But instead, she had totally forgot about her movie, and spent most of her days and nights filming with the cast and the Hughes Brothers who she grew annoyed with a lot.

They seemed entirely obnoxious and Milani didn't know how much longer she could take with being in their presence. She gave them their props for writing and being able to play together such a good and real movie but she felt as they felt some kind of way towards her, a feeling she couldn't pinpoint exactly of — but deep down, she had some feeling of why.
