"GOOD MORNING, MS.Haynes,how are you doing this morning? I stand correct when I've been told that you might be pregnant?" Doctor Lawson, asked, closing the door behind him. The doctor had been her doctor since she was born. He was the main doctor that preformed the birth, and she hoped he was able to do the same with her baby in the next months to follow.
She didn't mind if she had to follow up and fly to Texas every week out of the month until the baby was born. She initially wanted to her have her bay in the state she grew her whole life in.
She smiled softly as Doctor Lawson took a seat in his chair, rolling up beside her. "Yeah, hopefully. I don't trust anybody's wording about serious things like this but you." She assured, nodding her head. She didn't entirely believe that she was pregnant from the home test she had took the night prior to last night.
She hadn't told DeVanté either, not wanting to give his hopes up. She hid the test with Rayne, since she was the last person that DeVanté would even go to if he felt like Milani was hiding something. But luckily, Milani knew how to act perfectly fine — which wouldn't be the best thing in the world in the future in doing so.
"Well I'm glad you've said that. As you already know and did, the doctor took a full physical exam, and had you release urine into a cup. And well, Milani . . . you're indeed expecting. Six weeks to be exact. Congratulations." He exclaimed with a bright smile on his face.
Milani found herself growing overly emotional over the statement Lawson had given her. It was, so far, one of the best days in her life to mark. Her sophomore album was officially out in stores for her fans to buy worldwide. And now she was expecting a baby with someone she loved most at heart. You could tell the woman was overfilled with lots of happiness and joy.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to do your first ever ultrasound on the baby. See how it's developing, are you okay with that? I see the father isn't around today. A certain, DeVanté Swing?" He smirked jokingly. Milani had never met a doctor that was so outgoing, happy and chill as much as Doctor Lawson, which is what she loved about him.
"Yeah, that's okay. He's not in Texas with me at the moment, he's out doing his own thing in New York. He doesn't even know I'm pregnant. I barely found out myself last night." She explained to him — Milani had millions of ideas of how she was going to express to DeVanté that they were expecting a baby together.
