IT HAD BEEN THREE WEEKS since Milani had any encounter with DeVante or anyone else for that matter. She found herself being secluded in her newly brought home she had purchased in her hometown of Corpus Christi. It was a nice two story home, to her liking when she welcomed her baby into the world.
Milani and DeVante were officially over. And it didn't take long for the press to realize and set out a statement. Milani hadn't known of this act until she received a phone call from Kennedy. The two talked all night that night, and she was the only one who had known where Milani was at the moment.
She had cancelled almost every plan she had within the last three weeks, being photoshoots, interviews, music video, concerts. She was out of it to say the least. Milani kept in close contact with JoJo and Dalvin, and they kept her informed on DeVante's well-being. She didn't entirely care but she did, deep down, she had to for the sake of her baby, who'd be arriving some time in December.
The two boys had informed her that he was doing good but he was doing horrible at the same time. He'd been locking himself in the studios for solid weeks, which Milani found nothing wrong with. It was something he always did. He'd lock himself in there for a week, come out for another, go back in for a week and so on.
They also informed her that he'd been taking his pills, that she didn't know he took. Another one of the many secrets he did from her. But she understood when they told her that they didn't feel comfortable explaining it without his permission, and if he'd really want to tell her, he would. Somehow. Someway. Someday.
Andre, as usual, managed to push work onto Milani's plate but he did worry about his other artists rather than her which was expected to her. He hadn't learned that she was pregnant yet so the things he pushed were the mega tours that she insisted on, but wanted to hold back due to her pregnancy, he pushed interviews, photoshoots and collaborations with other artists.
Milani heard loud bangs being pressed against her front door since she was alone and there was no noise, she'd heard it perfectly from upstairs. She furrowed her eyebrows, wondering who it possibly could've been due to the fact that Kennedy was the only one who knew her address and she was scheduled for a fashion show in Milan, Italy for Versace again.
She walked closer to the door, seeing as a tall, chunky and a curvy medium figures in the doorway. Her door was glassy and foggy so she was able to see to whoever's shadow that walked through the door.
