Twenty four

... something wasn't right that day.

Flashback.

"Hey!"
I turn. He's standing right behind me.
"Hey!"
His hug is always tight. I hug him back. He seems to hear something. He throws me back as a cage catches him. What's going on? I don't know but the cage is taken from me. Leaving me alone once more.

Flashback ends.

Salem.... I look down. I wonder if I could find him. Maybe I can! I go look for him. I find a strange old castle. I knock on the door. No answer. I try opening it. It opens easily. I peek in. No one is there. I walk in. I hear something. I look around.
"Gil?"
I turn. His head.
"Salem?"
"Hi! As you can probably tell they took off my head... I kinda need help finding my body though."
"I'll find it!"
"Wait don't leave me!"
I pick his head up. He smiles. I smile back. We start looking.
"Hmph," a voice says.
"Oh god..."
I look around. A man walks out he smiles evilly.
"Who are you?"
"Ohrin."
"What are you gonna do to us?"
"Why would you be worth any time? I've already got the body all I need is to kill the head."
"I won't let you kill him!"
Salem groans.
"Hmph"
What's going on? Salem winces. What is happening to him? I spot his body. How do I get it? Hmm maybe I can toss him. I toss him onto his body. His head reattaches he stretches and smiles.
"Thanks Gil!"
"You're welcome."
He smiles. I smile back.
"Come on let's go!"
We leave.
"Nmmmgh! It's weird."
"What is?"
"Being fully together after being apart for so long."
I nod. He trips. I help him up.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
"Keep running!"
We keep running. He collapses.
"Are you ok?"
"My legs hurt."
I carry him. He barely fits in my arms.  I sigh. We get back to Auradon. He sits there tiredly. I'm glad we're safe! He smiles. I smile back. He gets down. I sigh.
"Thanks for your help."
"No problem!"
He takes a staff and follows on. We go to everyone. Gohan scoops us both up to make sure we're okay. I sigh.
"How are you? Where were you?"
"Gohan I'm fine!"
"Luckily."
"All thanks to you."
I smile. He picks me up in a hug. I smile.
"I'm hungry how about you?"
"I'm hungry too!"
Gohan laughs, "I'll make food you both just need to take it easy."
I nod. He nods as well he yawns softly. I look over. He stretches then lays on the couch instead of getting up and going to the bedroom. I sigh. I should take him to bed. I take him to bed.
"Hm?"
"What?"
"Oh you just put me in bed. Okay."
I nod.
"Gil... do you have a girlfriend?"
"No why?"
"Okay. Just curious."
I nod. He gives me a hug. I hug him back. He falls asleep. Meaning I won't be moving for a while. I sigh. He slightly stirs then falls back asleep. I sigh again. He soon wakes up. I look over.
"What's up?"
"Nothing."
"Okay."
I nod. He sits up. I look over.
"I'm hungry how about you!"
"I'm hungry too!"
He smiles. I smile back.
"Let's go!"
I nod. We go downstairs. He follows. We get something to eat. Gohan smiles. I look over. Salem gives me tight hug. I hug him back.
"Well I'm glad you are okay Gil."
"I'm glad you're ok too."
Salem sighs, "I guess I should tell you why it happened shouldn't I?"
"Tell me why!"
"Love ain't nothing but a heart ache!" Claudius, Amir, and Salem sing at the same time.
"Hm?"
Salem just laughs then hugs me. I hug him back.
"Anyways, so, someone had sold my body off for science and that's why that guy got me."
I nod. He smiles. I smile back. He gets up. I look over.
"What? I just needed to stretch."
I nod.
He wanders around a bit. I sigh. He looks over. I look over. He sits down. I sit down too.
"I missed you."
"I missed you too."
He hugs me tightly. I hug him back.
