Twenty eight

He hugs us both. I hug him back. Roman yawns.
"You should rest baby boy."
I giggle. Roman falls asleep. Palos smiles. I smile. Palos leads us to a kitchen and asks, "what do you want to eat?"
"What do you have?"
"Anything you wish."
"Hmmm pizza."
He nods to the servants who make all sorts of pizza. I smile. He smiles back with a somewhat tired glance. I sigh. Jessie smiles and digs in. I eat some too. It's delicious! I eat more. After a bit he smiles weakly.
"I'm so glad to finally meet you both."
"It's nice to meet you too!"
Jessie nods.
"So you seem to be a princess."
"No im not."
"You act like one. Who is your mother may I ask?"
"T-The Evil Queen."
"So you are a princess then."
"No im not."
He seems confused.
"What?"
"But your mother is a queen."
"I've been told that doesn't make me a princess though."
I smile, "thank you."
"No problem, your highness."

Dizzy's POV

What the—where am I? Did I just hear a roar? Like Aryeh when he got very angry? I look around. It's getting louder. I hear a clink that distracts me though. I follow the noise. I find kaipo laying weakly on the ground a spoon in his hands and a pile of other shiny objects beside him. I go over beside him. He forces himself back up to go in but collapses. I look down. He spots me.
"Wh—why are you here? What are you doing here?"
"I-I don't know."
He manages to focus long enough to rip a collar from his neck.
"Where are we?"
"I'm not sure."
I look around again.
"I know Aryeh is here somewhere!"
"Let's find him!"
He nods cutely. We look around for him. I hear a noise. It sounds like Kobe. I follow it. I find them both. They look hungry as they growl at us. I back up. Kaipo cries as they approach quickly. Oh no! Suddenly a blinding light hits them both. Kaipo whimpers but we seem to be safe now. What's going on? The boy that came with Bryant is there. He smiles and removes the collars before handing us something to eat. We eat. Aryeh makes softer growls. I sigh. He continues eating. I continue eating too. He looks up. I look over. He turns back to normal as does Kobe. I smile. He smiles back. I look around. Kobe uncurls. He looks a bit confused as he sits up.
"Can we get out of here?"
"Yeah follow me I know the way," the boy says.
We follow. The boy leads us out. I look around. He leads us to a car.
"Are you old enough to drive?" Aryeh asks holding back a purr.
"Legally? Not exactly. But I know how to drive."
Oh god...The car looks to be in perfect shape though. Aryeh sighs, "I'll drive."
"That's fine too. I actually have my permit early though."
We get in. Aryeh drives us around kinda aimlessly. Until he spots something he stops the car and mumbles, "nope nope nope."
"What?"
Aryeh looks embarrassed, "you said you can drive right?"
The boy nods, "yep oh and by the way I'm Alex. Why something up?"
"The mind stuff is making it hard to focus on the road."
I sigh. Alex nods and changes spots. He's a great driver surprisingly. I look around. He drives us back to Uma's place where Gohan has us all looked at and the boys force fed. I sigh. Alex looks me over one more time before sighing. I smile. He smiles back before patting on my head. He suddenly jolts back. I look over. He looks over embarrassed.
"What?"
"Nothing."
I nod. He looks over and cries softly.
"What's wrong?"
"Wanna go home!!"
I nod. He leads me outside to the sea. I look around.
"There's home..."
"I'm sorry."
"I'm cursed... but happy."
"Happy?"
"Yeah. My friend captain Bryant helps take care of me!"
I nod.
"Can you swim?"
I shake my head no.
"I can teach you!"
"Really?"
He nods.
I giggle, "I would love that!"
"Come on let's go to the lake it's safer there!"
I follow him. He leads me there then realizes that we don't have bathing suits that is until Bryant emerges. I look over. He hands us both a bathing suit as kaipo join us by jumping in and splashing us. I giggle. He giggles to before we go change and he jumps in. He suddenly tenses up.
"What's wrong?"
He sinks before only to re-emerge he seems a bit confused but happy. I slowly walk in. He swims over as I notice he's got a mermaid tail! He's a merman? I giggle.
"Here ready to learn?"
I nod. He takes my hands and starts teaching me. I think I'm getting it! He continues until he knows I've got it. I giggle. He smiles and lets me go to swim. But stays beside me. I start swimming. He claps and smiles watching me go. I giggle. He smiles and swims after me. I giggle again.
"You're amazing!"
"Thank you!"
"No problem!"

Evie's POV

Palos has been watching over us like hawks like he needs to protect us. I sigh. He realizes it then looks away a bit embarrassed, "I'm sorry."
"It's ok."
"I guess he's like a mother hen!" A voice shouts. Palos looks around angrily. I turn. It's a strange chicken like man standing there he's got a spell ready but he's not aiming it at Palos. Who is he aiming it at? I quickly realize I think it's— I watch the spell blast but don't feel it. I open my eyes to see Palos took the spell for me. Oh my God. Palos shifts he looks uncomfortable.
"Are you ok? What's going on?"
He throws off his cloak gasping and stumbling. What is it doing? He suddenly is enveloped by a strange aura when it fades he has became a she. Is he gonna turn into a chicken girl?
"Nmmmmm"
I look over. She's shifting and clucking. Oh no! I watch the chicken person transforming into a dog like state as Palos turns into a chicken. Why is that? Who knows. I look down. He's gone now though. 

Audrey's POV

I wake up... I'm not on the isle? I look around. I see a dog man watching over me and smiling a big toothy grin.
"What's going on?"
"Hi!!! I'm Baran!!"
"Um hi I'm Audrey."
"Hi!" He seems excited. He calms then says, "sorry I haven't seen a girl in what feels like millennia!"
"And why are you so excited about that?"
"Girls are cool!"
I get up. He makes sure I'm okay even going as far as to sniff me over. I back up a little. He stops and realizes how weird he looks. He looks away then says, "sorry."
"It's ok. Where am I?"
"Our home!"
"Our home?"
"The others aren't human enough yet!"
I look around.
"But they're here!"
I nod. He pants. I pet him. He pants happily. I giggle.
He smiles, "that feels good. I need help."
"With what?"
"There's this guy Charlie... I know his mind is broken," he stops and howls.
I nod.
He continues after panting for a minute, "sorry, sorry, i need to get him here"
I nod.
"I need to turn back!"
"How do I get him though?"
"You have scepter?" He asks pointing to the scepter.
I nod.
"You can bring Arf here?"
"With my scepter?"
He pants harder than begins to shrink.
"Not now! Not now!" He's trying to get to the dog food but it's too late. He whimpers. I look down. He looks up then paws at the bag. I give him some food. As soon as he eats the kibble he goes back to normal.
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
He pants softly.
"Can we get him? I wanna be normal again!"
I nod. He smiles. I smile.
