"What's a sunken ship?" Frankie asked as he showed off his bartending skills, and I rolled my eyes. He had so many customers; even though he had a waiter, I doubted she was good at making drinks.
Maybe that was jealousy talking, but all she did was deliver the drinks Frank made.
"I'm coming over there," I said as I got up and heard Anin explain the story to him, although I wanted to avoid it. This story about Miall and I was now boring. I wrapped an apron around my waist and saw that Anin's explanation had gotten a few listeners.
Well, the story was altered to human expectations, and it was kind of funny how she had to cut out a few things from the real story.
I happily attended to the customers despite having my whole life on Nioz being spilt to people I didn't know. Who would've thought I would be tonight's entertainment?
"And he had the audacity to propose to her in front of his people and later on that night sleep with his cheap ass girlfriend," she said drunkenly, and they gasped.
"No, he did not!" Charlie, one of the listeners, said dramatically as she held onto her chest.
"Girl, he did! And later on that night, Amanah had an allergic reaction and he was nowhere to be found, it was really bad," she continued, at least she wasn't drunk to the point where she would mention their species and markings.
"So girl, you're just going to let that hoe take your man from you like that?" Charlie asked, flinging her hand to the side.
"She was his before me," I shrugged as I wiped the counter, and they all gasped again.
"You're the one pregnant with the heir of the kingdom! You better get your thoughts right," Tim said, and I cocked my head to the side.
"Guys, I'm the one who came in the middle of the relationship and foolishly ended up liking him despite knowing he loved Willow," I explained. "I'm sorry, but I am not going to fight for something I can't win," I said, and they all shook their heads disappointedly.
"The Amanah I knew wouldn't let a little relationship get in between her and her goals," Frankie said. "But that's just the Amanah I knew; maybe I'm mistaken," he shrugged, and I chortled, folding my arms over my chest.
"And what is that supposed to mean?"
"It means what Amanah wants gets because she's a bad bitch. If what Anin said about their relationship is true, then there's no hope for them. He just feels guilty for cheating on her with you when he knew he had lost all feelings for her the day he met you, and I saw the way he looked at you that night. As if you both had known each other for a long fucking time, and you've always been in love with you," Frankie said, and I stared at him, speechless.
They were about to feed into my delusions, and the reason I came here was for a reality check.
"Exactly, you don't have to give up on him because of some strung relationship; it's already dead, Amanah; meddle your way in!" Anin slurred, and Charlie nodded.
"Show him all that he could have with you," Charlie snapped her fingers.
"Show him you're the only Queen for him and that no other bitch could fill that role better than you," Tim added.
Yeah, if I had never meant to be with him, then I wouldn't have been in the situation I am currently in. Orion would hate me, I wouldn't be pregnant, and I certainly wouldn't have been accepted by everyone.
It was meant for me...right?
"Because there's no other bitch beside me," I said, and they cheered. "And I'm mother fucking Amanah carrying his baby; I'm the only woman his eyes should be on."
