Miall pulled my face closer to his and sucked my bottom lip catching me by surprise. I gasped and giggled, thinking this would be an innocent kiss just to get rid of the gooey sticky centre. However, Miall had other plans.

Miall licked my bottom lip softly, grazing my lip with his teeth; once I realised his intentions, I slid my hand between our faces and pushed him away.

"That's enough," I laughed, and he pressed another kiss on my temple and stared at me in silence for a second before pressing more kisses all over my face.

"Thank you," he pressed his lips on my cheek and pressed them on my nose. "Thank you," he repeated the action, and no matter how much I tried to push him away, he wouldn't budge.

"I get it, you're thankful!" I laughed.

"Move," Malakhi said as he pushed between Miall and me. He wrapped his arms around my neck and congratulated me. I could genuinely feel their excitement, which made me feel much better.

"I'm having a daughter!" He clapped his hands excitedly, and a growl resonated from behind him.

"I'm the one having a daughter, and don't touch my mate however you please," Miall grunted as he lifted me from my chair and sat me down on his lap, wrapping his arms around me possessively. "You can all congratulate us ten feet away from us," Miall ordered, and I stared at him in shock.

"What are you doing?" I whispered to him, and he gave me a stank eye before turning his head forward.

He's so sassy lately. Where did he adopt such behaviour?

"I'm coddling you, and no, I won't let go of you. I don't want anyone touching you," he grumbled, and I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing.

"Who taught you how to give a person a stank eye?"

"I've seen you doing it to Drystan, and I thought it gets the point across. Was I wrong to do that to you?" He asked worriedly, and I smiled, shaking my head.

"Nope, it did get the point across, but don't give it to your mom."

Those who wanted to congratulate us came forth and stuck to their Alpha's rules regardless of me saying it was okay; I assume it had something to do with the glare he was giving everyone. Miall was mean at times, which made me wonder why and how his pack loved him so much.

Probably the same way I did because he was so hard to understand...we fell in love with the shadiness and rudeness.

"I need to pee," I whispered in Mialls ear, and he tightened his grip on my lap.

"I'll take you," he whispered back, and I shook my head.

"Stay and get along with your pack. I'll be back soon," I got up, and he pouted his lips, looking heartbroken. I pressed my lips on his and quickly scooted away before he could grab me.

He was always quick with his hands.

When I got to the toilet, I stopped in my tracks, registering what was happening. My eyes widened at the sounds and the activities I witnessed out in the open.

The white restroom, not a single thing out of place, the tiles that glistened enough to show my reflection, and the strong scent of the tile cleaner made me cover my mouth...not because of what was happening.

It wasn't the first time I had seen this happening. I used to work at Frankie's bar, but I didn't expect it to happen to someone I knew all too well.

"Oh," I whispered as I saw Willow perched on the sink with her mate buried underneath her dress. I gave her a small wave, and she smiled, but I couldn't figure out if it was a smile of embarrassment or pleasure, but it was definitely somewhere in between the two.
