Third Person

Amanah and Miall sat next to each other on the couch as they awkwardly stared at the screen.

Amanah tightly clutched the toss pillow, embarrassed by her actions from earlier on. This was not how she expected it to turn out. All her boldness has dissolved.

Turns out, she wasn't feeling as sexy anymore.

She turned to look at Miall, and he was already staring back at her; surprised, she turned back and stared at the opaque screen.

Fuck, has he been staring this entire time? She thought to herself. Miall kept his stare trained on Amanah, studying all the little details.

A beauty mark right at the corner of her eye. Her lashes were long, and would kiss the top of her cheeks whenever she blinked.

The way she sucked in her cheeks and blew them out while pouting her plump lips. He paid attention to every single thing she was doing.

Miall cocked his head to the side and spread out his arms on the couch; Amanah folded her legs underneath her and clutched the pillow even tighter.

"Are you hungry?" Miall asked huskily, and Amanah looked at him from underneath her eyelashes.

"No, thank you," she whispered.

Miall got up and kissed her neck. She shuddered in delight and buried her face into the pillow. Her neck tingled where he had just kissed her. She turned her head and watched him in the kitchen as he drank water.

Her eyes followed his every move; she couldn't figure out why she was suddenly shy around him. Miall pulled his hair up, and her cheeks burned as she stared at him. She liked seeing Miall looking relaxed and in oversized clothes; it gave him a full-of-life look, and she enjoyed it.

It was time for him to get a hair trim, she thought to herself as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"Just go do it," Orion grunted to Miall, trying to push him towards Amanah.

"I can't! What if she doesn't like it?"

"Just go already, or I'll take over," Orion snapped, and Miall sighed. He turned to look at Amanah, and her eyes opened as wide as saucers before she looked away.

Miall smiled and walked away to his room.

"Is he annoyed because we're not doing anything?" Amanah whispered to herself as she watched him walk away. "Well, it's not like I don't want to, but having you stare at me so intensely makes me nervous," she said, heading to the kitchen.

"Where are you going?" His voice brought chills through her body, and she jumped, surprised. She felt like something had glued her to the same spot, and she looked around, wondering what had happened.

"Oh, I'm sorry," he scratched his head, and she raised her eyebrows. "Still getting used to it," he said. Still, getting used to what? Amanah thought to herself.

"I was just going to the kitchen, can I?" Amanah asked sheepishly. Miall struggled to answer, and Amanah smiled and said, "Just kidding. Did you need something?"

"No, I wanted to give you a massage," he raised his hand, shaking the scented oil bottles. "If you want?"

"Haaaaah—" Amanah gasped and smiled, placing her hands on her face. "You mean that?" She felt like an idiot because she thought the massage symbolised something different."Yeah."

Amanah squealed as she rushed towards the couch. Miall sat on the couch, and Amanah looked confused for a second before she climbed on his lap, wrapped her arms around his neck, and pressed her head against his chest.
