Miall

Since Amanah left the platform, I kept my eye on her; maybe I should've gone ahead and danced with her. Right now, she wouldn't be talking so happily with that tutor of hers.

What did she see in him anyway?

What were they even talking about so happily, with smiles and discreet touches here and there? Didn't he know she was to be wedded to me and yet still had the guts to talk to her so flirtatiously, fucking hybrid!

"So, it seems our Alpha is getting married," I immediately groaned as I watched Drystan sit next to me—man read the room—I was not in the fucking mood!

"Yes," I replied with a smile, hoping that would end this conversation I didn't want to have with him. He was the reason we were in this mess; I should've gotten rid of him earlier.

"With a human," he continued, and I nodded. "Do you really think she would be fit to be Luna? Even Willow is a better fit for the role," he said with a small shrug, and I clenched my fist and turned to him, still holding the smile on my face.

"Yes, Willow is a better fit for the role; however, my mate is Amanah, and she is carrying our child, and I'm the Alpha, so that sums up the story for you, doesn't it, counsellor?"

It was taking all that was in me not to rip his head off.

"It might be logical since you'll be married, although your mate, Amanah, her name is?"

"Kill him," Orion threatened, and my teeth itched to extend.

It was crazy how a repulsive man like him made it to the panel, Mother had been trying to get rid of him since her reign began, but he was slithery like a fucking snake, and he was still on the board.

He and his little minions had to go. I had no idea what he held over their heads, but they all had to go.

"Yes, that's her name, but you can call her Luna Acula," I said, and he grinned, chuckling.

"You're a hilarious man, Miall; you definitely have your father's humour," he clutched my shoulder.

"No one would question you; kill him, Miall. Or I will," Orion promised, I wanted to do it but this was Amanah's celebration. I don't want to ruin her day.

"As I was saying, Amanah isn't fit to be Luna. You picked her up at a bar; she has no training and doesn't have what it takes to be Luna. So my advice to you, Alpha, from your counsel, is to let Willow be Luna. She is an amazing female warrior with a beautiful body, the embodiment of what the community thinks a powerful Luna is...yes you do marry Amanah for the sake of your bastard child in her right now, but would her influence move the pack? I think not. She could be your first wife and Willow your second; what do you think?"

"I think you should leave the thinking to me," Orion bared his teeth at him, and Drystan laughed, shaking his head. "Keep talking, and your head will roll."

"Ah, the real alpha still lives," he said, and I clenched my jaw. "You two still haven't merged? No wonder your eyes are still that weak purple," he muttered, and I accidentally broke the arm of the chair. Orion was itching to come out. I should let him out.

"Come on, Miall, let me make an example out of him to warn anyone who dares to underestimate us!" Orion yelled in my head. I took a deep breath in and smiled. "Don't smile for this stupid old fool; let's kill him. NOW!"

"Counsellor Drystan, thank you for your advice; however, unfortunately, it falls on deaf ears," I said, getting up. "My mother will train Amanah to become your Luna, and you will respect her," I leaned closer to him. "Human or not, she's above you now."
