Hope you enjoy this short little one-shot of my favorite lovebirds as a token of my gratitude :) Also this helped me kind of cure my writing block for this book while I fix the outline because it is a HOT MESS.

(This will also have no relation to the main events of the story).

Gala's weren't much of Yami's thing. Yes, sure enjoyed socializing and whatnot, but everyone has their limit to their social batteries.

It so happened Yami was one of those people.

She was there on behalf of Keigo who unfortunately couldn't make it due to emergency hero work—so being the nice sibling Yami was—she offered to go for him.

He reassured them that they won't pull anything extreme. It'll just be some reporters and a ceremony, and an open dance floor.

But as soon as the reporters swarmed her, she immediately regretted it.

"You're Hawks' little sister, correct, Miss Mei?" One of the reporters shoved a microphone in her face.

They all crowded around the entrance of the gala like groups of bees waiting for their Queen to make an appearance. And the main focus for them was to get some answers out of Yami.

"Yes... I am." Yami had her hands intertwined with one another in front of her. She gulped nervously as the amount of flashing lights that were in her direction.

There was still a small part of her that was still slightly uncomfortable with the amount of cameras pointed toward her. She started to fidget with the gloves she had on.

"Do you have any comment on your brother's amazing save last week?"

"What's it like having the number three Pro-Hero as your older brother?"

"Will you be following in his footsteps and joining his agency in the future?"

"Uh... one question at a time, please!" Yami asked as sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck. She let out a sigh and began answering the never ending questions.

Some time has passed and she decided that she didn't want to be caught up in the sea of reporters, so she finally excused herself inside to grab a small refreshment. She desperately needed it because her social battery was already beginning to drain.

Her dress was itching with all the uncomfortable fabric that hugged her body. The dress she wore was an off-the-shoulder lavender long dress that was mixed with silk and a type of thin lace that decorated some parts of the dress. She wasn't a huge fan of silk dresses, but the design was pretty enough to sit through.

She also had medium-length white gloves, but she took it off because of how much it irritated her skin. Yami also wore a simple silver necklace along with matching dangling earrings.

She held a small clutch bag that had the basic necessities inside.

Sora had her hair stylist have Yami's hair in a half up and half down with small curls. Two little strands had been pulled out for Yami's liking.

"I'm getting thirsty..." Mori complained as Yami weaved through the crowd to find the refreshments.

"Yeah yeah, I get it. I am too." Yami mumbled as she caught a glimpse of a wide table in the distance. A wave of relief washed over her and she hurriedly picked up part of her dress and quickened her pace.
