"So... How about you? What's your story? Why New Zealand?", Lisa asked in return. Jennie froze. She didn't know where to start, how to start, what to say – she's internally freaking out! She thought she has moved on, but it seems like she just buried all the painful memories deep down somewhere where she thought it would never come back. But it only took one question to trigger flashbacks of the painful pasts and come rushing to haunt her. Suddenly her eyes began to water, and Lisa panicked, she felt guilty for asking. "Jennie. Ohmygod! Forgive me for asking." The cat-eyed girl looked down as she wiped her tears, "It's okay. It's not your fault silly.", she tried to play it cool. The beautiful surgeon once again hugged her friend to soothe her. Her left arm wrapped around her waist and right hand running up and down on the cat-eyed girl's sexy back. "Will you be mad at me if I don't answer your question right now? It's just, I'm not ready yet." Jennie asked, afraid to disappoint her new friend. "Nonsense! Of course not. But please know I'm here to listen if you want to vent out.", Lisa reassured her friend that she's not alone. Their sweet friendly embrace was cut short when Jennie's phone vibrated frantically, it's Chahee calling. "I'm sorry, I need to get this.", the cat-eyed girl said, Lisa nodded in understanding.
Jennie:Chahee, hiii!!! *nervous greeting*
Chahee:Jennie Kim!!! Where the hell are you??? It's already 10:30!!!" *screaming*
Jennie: Oh shoot!!! *facepalm* I forgot. Wait!!! 10 minutes, I'll be there.
Chahee: How dare you forget??? Don't you forget my Moscato. *screaming more*
Jennie: Relax! I have it in my car, Chahee. I'll be there. *annoyed*
Lisa chuckled as she can hear Jennie's friend fuming scream over the phone even though she's not on speaker. "Jennie is so dead", she thought. However, they didn't know Chahee heard the hot surgeon's chuckle.
Chahee: Who's with you??? Are you still with your girl??? *annoyed*
Lisa and Jennie's eyes widened in surprise. The only difference is – Jennie's wide eyes are of horrified and embarrassment, while Lisa's wide eyes are of confusion. Jennie's face is redder than tomato now, she immediately answered, "FRIEND, Chahee!!! FRIEND!!! And stop shouting!!!" *mad*
Chahee: Yeah, yeah! If you say so. *sarcastic*
Jennie: Bitch, bye! See you. *extra mad*
"I'm sorry, Lisa. I need to go.", Jennie said as she started brisk walking leaving her new friend. "No worries. Good luck! Please say hi to your friend for me. And Jennie, dinner again tomorrow?", the hot surgeon shouted as her sexy friend is 50 feet away from her now. "Sure! Nobu?", Jennie yelled back. "Ok!!!", Lisa showed her two thumbs up and beaming charming smile. "Happy Birthday again Lisa! Thanks for tonight. I had a lot of fun." Jennie showed her gummy smile and waved goodbye in response. As soon as Jennie entered her car, Lisa walked away with a smile. She felt odd for she has never felt this kind of happiness before. Especially with a friend, a girl to be more specific. All she knows is that she wants to see the sexy cat-eyed girl more often.
