And I just brought my silk sleep gowns para sa pagtulog ko ngayong gabi. Mommy and Daddy were just waiting for me to arrive earlier.

Ever since I arrived I noticed Mommy giving Daddy cold shoulders. Hindi siya masyadong sinasagot at pinapansin. Now I'm getting curious of what is happening to them. I'm hoping they they'll be okay.

It's been a long time since I saw Mom and Dad being like this, and now it feels so awkward. Just because I am not used to them being like this, I'm used on seeing them being so sweet towards each other.

Habang naglalakad ako pababa ng hagdanan, I saw Daddy standing near the sofa, just looking at Mommy. Meanwhile, my Mommy was sitting at the sofa, busy looking at her phone. I sighed. What really happened to them?

"'Mmy? 'Ddy? Let's go na po? I'm all done na po." I said as soon as I got down.

"Let me carry that, hon..." offer ni Daddy.

"Wag na." Seryosong sabi ni Mommy at hinawakan ang pulsuhan ko at nilampasan si Daddy para pumunta na sa sasakyan.

I looked back at where was Daddy and I saw him froze on that spot. I called him, "Daddy!"

Tiningnan niya ako at maliit na ngumiti. I gestured him to come follow us and he did. Mommy still ignored him and just went inside the car smoothly. We drove when all was ready.

I am currently sitting between two of them, and I honestly feel the tension. Mommy was just looking at the window while she was encircling her arms onto mine. Daddy kept on glancing on Mommy from time to time. I can feel his urge to talk to Mommy.

To break the silence, I decided to speak. I looked at Daddy and asked, "Where's your things, Dad?"

"In the back, anak." Daddy said and smiled at me. I just simply nodded.

To ease my boredom, I picked my phone inside my hand bag to message Ella.

@ireniellem.araneta: hey, i arrived at home na, but we're on our way to the palace na. dw i'm safe and sound :)

She replied immediately.

@mikhaellasevilla: great! say hi to tito greggy and tita irene for me. and thank you for today, kael and i enjoyed so much, babes!!

@mikhaellasevilla: btw my brother's been such in a good mood since we arrived here at home earlier, and he told me to ask you if okay lang ba daw if he'll follow you in insta

I chuckled and replied.

@ireniellem.araneta: yeah, no problem :) i enjoyed his company earlier too, tell khai that it's okay

After sending that message, I got startled because of the big baritone voice of Dad.

"Khai? Isn't Ella's brother named 'Mikhail'?" He asked. He was peeking while I was chatting with Ella.

"Daddy! You're peeking, huh?!" I exclaimed, he let out a laugh.

"Answer my question, missy." He said.

"Well, yeah. His name's Mikhail, but I call him Khai—"

Dad's brows furrowed. "Why, though?"

I rolled my eyes and explained. "He said that calling him by his name is too formal daw. So I called him Khai, cause I find it cute—"
