"Oh?" After driving to the destination that Kou sent Misaki, Emilio found himself knocking on the door before running back behind Misaki. The door opened, revealing two middle-aged couples, as they looked at each other confused. Clearly, they weren't expecting anyone.

So this is his grandparents.

"Sorry for the sudden appearance." Sakura's mum started, before shaking one of their hands. "I'm Misaki, I'm friends with your daughter and my daughter is friends with your grandson." The couple looked over at the girl, who bowed lightly before looking at Emilio.

"You know... {Y/N}... and grandson?" The lady repeated before looking at Emilio. He gulped, hiding behind Misaki's leg, causing her to giggle. "What's your name little one?" Emi looked up at Misaki, who nodded, before stepping out and bowing.

"You got this Emilio." She whispered-shouted as he nodded.

"I'm Emilio... Emilio Mukami." He said as the two looked at him surprised.

"Mukami... This is Kou's child too?" The male muttered, looking at him carefully. "I heard about him on the news but I didn't think it would be {Y/N}'s too." After glancing at each other the male crouched down. "How's mummy?"

"She's doing ok, but she misses you." Emilio answered, frowning lightly. "You're not mad at mummy, right?"

"No no of course not." The lady quickly shook her head, as she smiled. "If she's ok, then that's fine by us." Emilio smiled back, before nodding. "So why are you hear grandson? Come in, I have biscuits to share." Smiling, the two toddlers held hands as they entered the house together.

Whilst talking, Emilio couldn't help but see pictures of his young mother around the house. She was beautiful, like now. His grandfather noticed, as he gently nudged the boy.

"Wanna see your mother's room?" He whispered, as the boy happily nodded. He followed him upstairs and the scent he was so familiar with came back as he approached the door. Curiously, he opened it and looked around.

There were pictures of her and his dad everywhere. He couldn't help but smile as he hurried over to the bed, where the scent was strong.

"Miss mummy?" He asked as the boy nodded, laying down. He didn't know why but he felt much closer to his mum than before. "Here kiddo. Your friend's mum said you needed pictures." He said, giving Emilio a photo album.

"Ok, Kou... it's your turn..."

-

"Get off the phone~" I whined, trying to snatch it off Kou, but he held it up high, making me frown. "Kou!"

"After all this and you still have energy... How long can you take huh?" He scoffed before pecking my forehead. "Last time you passed out right after."

"I'm a mother to a 4-year-old vampire whilst dating his father, aka a horny sadistic vampire, I think I can last a whole night." I folded my arms as he laughed, putting his phone down. "Let's continue~"

"M-Neko chan, you're so needy, huh? Well unfortunately for you, we gotta stop." He said, getting out of the bed. I looked at him confused, wondering why he stopped.

"What happened?" I frowned, finding my top that was laying on the floor somewhere. Kou sighed, scratching his head as if he's worried about how I'll react.

"He's crying."

And that was all I needed to know for me to quickly get ready.

I followed Kou to where Emilio was at today before pausing, remembering this area. I decided to stay quiet as we stopped at one particular house.

"Isn't this...?" I muttered, gulping slightly.

"Your parents' house?" Kou finished as I nodded, still confused.

My parents' house. Is Emilio in here?

Sighing, I got out my keys, unlocked the door, and a pair of eyes looked at me surprised once it opened.

"{Y/N}?" My mother called me, as I nodded lightly. She hurried over and hugged me as I hugged her back, feeling tears leaving my eyes. "You're home."

"That's right." I muttered, smiling softly. I glanced over at Kou, who was smirking wildly...

As if he knew...

"Misaki, your plan worked after all." Kou said as I furrowed my eyebrows, not noticing her and little Sakura. "But at what cost, things were getting steamy..." He muttered quietly but I shook my head, pretending not to hear.

"You guys..." I whined, before pausing, realising he's not here. "Where's Emilio?"

"Upstairs, love." Mother said as she held my hands, leading me upstairs. Home was still the same as it was before I left. Before I knew it, I was outside my door. I glanced at my mum confused as I pushed open the door.

There he was, inside my bed, looking through my photo albums. My gaze softened, seeing how engaged he was, looking at each photo delicately.

He wanted to feel more connected to his mother.

"He wanted to learn so much about you as a child." Mother started, patting my back as I tried not to let more tears fall than they already have.

"Wait is that...?" I looked at one special photo album that Emilio was holding as she nodded.

"Isn't that ours?" Kou muttered, I had no idea where he came from. "Isn't that the one we made for him?" I nodded in agreement, looking at Kou.

"Mummy?" The boy paused, as he dismounted the bed, ran over to me as he hugged me happily. "I love you so so so much." He cooed as I giggled, playing with his hair. "I love daddy so so so much too."

"We love you more." I said, before glancing back at my mum. "I'll tell you everything."
