15 minutes have past and our guide still hasn't woken up. I leaned on Kou's chest, thinking about what to do in this current situation.
"Do we just... leave him?" Laito suggested, looking unsure.
"Seems reasonable." Kou joked, as I lightly elbowed his stomach. "Oww... What was that for?"
"Go ahead of you want suspicion to fall upon us." Shuu said, unplugging his earphones. "However, it's not a bad idea."
"Can't we bury his body?" Subaru shrugged, using a stick to poke the body. "He looks dead to me."
"If you bury it under an endangered species, it's illegal to dig the pit up." Yuma proudly said, folding his arms.
"Or I can use him in my doll collection." Kanato suggested, as I facepalmed, wondering if I was the only person with brain cells.
"Do any of you even know the way home?"
I asked as the group fell silent. "How are you going to ditch a body if you don't know how to get out of here? We're on a mountain for crying out loud."
"... So we're agreeing to leave the body then?" Ayato asked as I huffed in frustration.
"I'm going." I muttered, walking towards the path. Seeing his mother leave the scene, Emilio gave Kanato his teddy back before running towards me, holding my hand.
"{Y/N}, where are you going?" Kou asked as I shook my head, carrying Emilio in my arms.
"To find help? I don't know." I shouted, quickening my pace. I honestly had no idea where I'm going but anywhere away from them will do.
"Mummy are you mad at daddy?" Emilio asked, burying his head in my shoulders.
"No dear..." I started, patting my back. "You know I'm different from you and your father, right? His brother and the other brothers are the same as you... I feel kind of awkward since our way of thinking is different." I said, sitting down at a rock.
"But you're still the best even if you're different." He pouted, causing me to laugh a bit. "Maybe you will be like me soon, then we can both be special." He said, nodding happily.
"You're already my special boy." I cooed, poking his nose, causing him to giggle. I don't know how, but Emilio always manages to lift my mood.
"There you are." Kou said, sighing in relief. I looked up at him confused as he pointed back at the direction that we came from. "He's awake."
