I took a quiet deep breath and watched him looking into my eyes.
"Kou I-" Kou put his finger on my lips.
"Don't force yourself." He smiled. "I properly understand how I was treating you. So as your ex and best friend, choose someone who's good enough." He said, starting to walk off.
"But you're good enough for me..." I whispered. Shaking my head, I caught up to him.
After our walk through the park, Kou gently put his forehead on mine. I blushed, watching him.
"... You've cooled downs bit." Kou sighed in relief. "I was wondering when it'll go down-"
"{Y/N}!" Both me and Kou turned out attention to the Male calling my name. It was neighbour from the flats that we live in.
"How many boys..." Kou muttered, moving away from me. The Male, Kai, smiled.
"Kai, Hiya!" I smiled gently, giggling a bit. He smiled back, ignoring Kou's presence.
"{Y/N}, you're getting prettier every day." He laughed, causing me to blush.
"I don't think we've met before." Kou finally said, wrapping his arms around me. "I'm Kou-"
"I know. Mukami Kou." He quickly cut him off. "I'm Tachija Kai." Kai smiled. "Anyway, {Y/N}, has Emilio been feeling down these past couple of days?" I froze, him mentioning Emi.
I forgot to tell you, he's a teacher assistant at Emilio's school.
"N-No, why?" Bad thoughts have been coming into my head. What if something really happened? Would they take him away from me-
"Hey, calm down." Kou's gentle voice spoke calmly. "Emi looked happy when I dropped him off to school."
"Out of curiosity, how close are you with Emilio?" Kai asked.
"I'm his father, and although we've recently met, he's growing attached to me." Kou chuckled.
"Ahhh.." Was all he said. I bit my lip nervously, thinking what to do.
Emilio...
"I said calm down. You're sick, remember?" Kou sighed. "Look, how about we go and visit his school." He suggested. I nodded slowly, sighing.
