"Wake up {Y/N}ie~" I huffed, being woken up by a whole load of butterfly kisses on my face as I opened my eyes, seeing the victim. "Why do you hate mornings that bad?" He asked, tilting his head.

"Not worth it." I huffed, throwing the blanket over my head blocking the sunlight. "Plus this is the second time you slept without me." He laughed getting under the covers with me, as I frowned, looking at him. "It's not funny, out."

"The first time was your punishment." Kou scoffed, stroking my hair delicately. "I already talked to your mum and she's more than happy for you to stay." I was about to say something but he placed his finger on my lips, shaking my head. "For once, let me handle it. You're already keeping things away from me..." I glanced at him, pretending to be confused.

"I'm not hiding anything.." I muttered softly. "But fine, we can do this your way." I added before nodding, making him pat my head. "Where's Emi?" I asked, seeing he wasn't on the bed. I sat up but Kou quickly pulled me back into his arms causing me to squeak. "K-Kou-!"

"He's eating breakfast. There wasn't any so I went to go and buy some." Kou answered, as I softly smiled in relief, snuggling up with him. "This room has a strong smell of you, no wonder Emilio could sleep well. I feel like sleeping myself." He laughed, burying his face in my neck.

"Aren't you sick of it? I was planning on changing perfumes-"

"I won't allow it." He quickly interrupted as I looked at him confused. After noticing, he paused, clearing his throat, as he sat up immediately.

"You know..." Our heads turned to see my father, opening the door as I gulped, sitting up as well. "When you disappeared, Kou occasionally slept in your bed." He started as Kou began to grow bright red. "Something about his nightmares fading away whenever he can smell your scent." He finished before leaving the room. I quickly looked over to Kou who refused to make eye contact with me as I firmly held his hand.

"You were the only reason I could sleep peacefully..." He muttered, scratching the back of his head but I quickly hugged him, patting his back.

"I won't leave you again, I promise." I muttered as Kou paused before hugging me back, chuckling lightly.

"Then I'll hold you accountable for it." He said before moving to my ears. "Don't make me punish you~" He cooed as I scrunched my nose but didn't mind the comment.

"You know, I could do with a walk." I started looking as Kou raised his eyebrows. "With everything going on, I just need fresh air."

"On your own?" Kou asked, as I nodded, standing up from my bed but he grabbed my arm. "But..." He bit his lip as I raised my eyebrows, knowing why he was acting up.

"Literally 10 minutes, Kou." I said as he sighed in defeat, letting go of me.

"If you're not back in this bed in 15 minutes, I'm coming for you." He huffed, throwing the covers over his head as I scoffed, seeing him act childish. Shaking my head, I headed downstairs to see my parents and my son interacting as I softly smiled.

"Hi baby~" I called as Emilio quickly ran up to me, leaping as I caught him on time. I laughed, playing with his hair a little before bowing at my parents. "I'll be back, just going for a walk." I said, to them, placing Emilio down.

"I'll be waiting for you~" Emilio said, hugging my leg gently before rushing back to my parents.

"Stay safe." Dad called as I nodded, exiting the door before looking at the familiar scene ahead of me. Hands in my pocket I started walking around, allowing it to free my mind.

And let me tell you, it was the best 5 minutes I've had so far.

I stopped my track, having a strange feeling from behind as I turned my head. A hooded figure was nearby, stalling as I turned back, walking carefully. As I guessed, the person began walking as I took a deep breath reaching for my phone, dialling my phone.

"Miss me already?~" I heard his voice as I almost laughed before shaking my head.

"... I think I'm being followed." I muttered as I changed direction.

Yep, still following...

"I'm coming, don't go too far." Kou said hurriedly as I hummed, keeping the phone close. "Where are you?"

"Near the park- Ouch!" Before I could finish, my hair got yanked, causing me to drop the phone in shock as I turned to see the victim. "Get off me!"

"I said I'll kill you if I have to." She smirked as I gasped, feeling something sharp strike into my chest. I looked down, seeing how deep it went as I collapsed to the ground. "Let's see how you'll survive this."
