Emilio...?
I felt tears forming, seeing how badly hurt he was. I wasn't going to stand there. I grabbed Kou's hand and pulled him over to where the group of boys were.
"Excuse me, what do you think you're doing?" I managed to say, picking up Emilio to his feet. "Haven't you learnt how to be nice?" The response I got wasn't so nice.
"Shut Up old lady!"
The disrespect. The audacity this kid has managed to blew me away. I tried to remain calm, taking a deep breath.
"I beg you're pardon?" I handed Emilio to Kou before walking to them, crouching to his eye-level. "You do not call someone an old lady, do you understand?" I said, sounding as gentle as I have to be. "Now apologise to my son for bullying or I'll-"
"Mum! Old lady is being mean to me!" I looked back at Kou quickly as he looked at the lady approaching us.
Now the situation is going to get more worse.
"May ask what you're doing to my son?" She asked. She's more of an old lady than I am.
"May I ask what your son is doing to mine?" I hissed at her, standing up. "Having the guts to lay a finger on my son." The lady scoffed and glanced at her boy.
"Bunta wouldn't hurt a fly. Maybe your son is too weak to face him."
Who the heck name their son Bunta-
"Besides, you don't look fit to be a mother." She continued, rolling her eyes. "Lemme guess, teenage pregnancy at 16? No wonder you can't raise your son well." She sniggered. I clenched my fists before taking a deep breath.
Must remain calm...
"First if all, missy, it's 18, not 16. I'm classed as a grownup then so it wasn't a teenage pregnancy." I started, folding my arms. "And don't tell me how to raise my child when even your son was caught bullying Emi. Maybe you're the bad mother here."
"{Y/N}..." Kou said my name, as a warning sign. I shrugged it off as I stepped closer to her.
"What really annoys me the most is that you don't seem to care, huh?" I shook my head, folding my arms. I looked at the boy. "No one is ever gonna love you if you continue this, mister."
"{Y/N}." Kou called for the second time. I turned around, glaring at him before back at them too.
"How could you honestly say that to me? I have a full-time job as an CEO, well paid. Tell me, do you have a job better than that?"
"Nope. But there's the problem. Full time job, you don't have time for you children." I pointed out.
"Why you-" She grabbed hold of my hair, tugging it down causing me to wince. I did the same, until we ended up having a fight.
*
"I thought you was against fighting." Kou scoffed, observing my face. I looked away slightly, before rolling my eyes.
"She attacked me first. I wasn't going to just let her." I defended myself, removing the ice pack from my head. "That kid needs to back away from Emilio..." I sighed, turning around. He was there, sleeping on the couch.
My special angel.
