"Kou!" I smiled in relief, seeing the vampire enter the room as I started to relax. It's been a few hours since I last saw him which worried me. He smiled weakly, before looking behind him as I raised my eyebrows.

"We got a little visitor." I smiled instantly, knowing who he was talking about as I saw the boy run up to me and quickly climb on the bed to hug me. I hugged him back, feeling the tears leaving my eyes as I'm reunited with my baby again.

"Mummy I missed you." Emilio said, pouting lightly as he gently wiped my tears. "Don't cry, Emilio has been a good boy. I promise." I laughed lightly before nodding, patting his back.

"Emilio has always been a good boy for mummy." I cooed before looking back at Kou who was smiling, watching us together. "Come." I said, patting him to sit with us as he smiled, heading to the other side of the bed and sat, resting his head on my shoulder. "Kou..."

"I slapped her." I looked at him surprised that I almost sat up from my seat as Kou heavily sighed, closing his eyes. "She was about to hurt you again, so I just..." He laughed before looking up at me as I bit my lip. "She's arrested now, but police want to ask some questions. When you're ready, of course I'll call them from the station."

"I can't believe you did that..." I said, tilting my head. He laughed again before sighing a bit.

"Well, you're mine, and no one can insult what's mine." I guess there's a pro of having an possessive boyfriend.

"You didn't have trouble with Emilio... right?" I asked, sitting up carefully whilst trying not to startle the child laying on me. Kou scratched his head lightly before looking down.

"He's so giddy when it comes to bath times, sometimes I wonder if he's a mermaid, not a vampire." Kou whined, causing Emilio to laugh. "And ever since he tried your blood, nothing is more satisfying. I mean I understand that but, man."

"He's a mini version of you, Kou." I laughed, playing with Emilio's hair. "It scares me thinking that he'll end up being an exact copy." He raised his eyebrows, pretending to be offended. "I mean, good luck to his future girlfriend." I muttered before clearing my throat.

"How long until we can go home?" Emilio asked as I tilted my head.

"We've been staying at your parents. Although I took a small break, there were still things that needed doing." He explained as I looked at him surprised. "Don't. I'll take a break if it's something to do with you." I frowned before looking back at Emilio.

"Hopefully soon." I answered since I don't even know myself. "We can be happy again, just us 3, yeah?" Emilio nodded happily at the idea as he snuggled into me more. God knows how much he missed me. "Crap, that's a whole week of work gone..." I facepalmed at the reality that I'm forced to face.

"Crap!" Emilio copied as me and Kou looked at him surprised as I mentally whined.

"That's your doing this time. Finally, I don't get the full blame." Kou pointed out as I rolled my eyes.

"Emi, please don't use that word. It's-"

"-And adult thing, I know." He giggled as I raised my eyebrows at the boy.

Yep, definitely a copy of his father.

"Kou... I decided to expose the truth." I said, looking at Emilio. I have to for him to live safely and soundly with us. "I'll talk to the police too."

"I was hoping you'll say that." Kou said as he looked through the door. "They're outside waiting for you."

"Y-You said you'll call them?" I looked at him surprised as he winked, opening the door.

"I think now is the time to be open."
