Chapter Twenty Nine

I sighed watching Emilio go to school as Kou gently patted my back. The worry was still invading my mind; I guess that's what you have as a role of a mother. "He'll be okay, don't worry." He said, patting my shoulders lightly for confort. I weakly smiled before letting out a deep sigh.

We walked around the park as silence was surrounding us. I guess we had nothing interesting happen as I had no idea what to say or do. I frowned looking down. I still can't help but to worry.

How didn't I notice the signs?

"{Y/N}?" I hummed in response as I looked up at him, escaping my mind space. "Let's go on a date."

"The arcade?" I laughed lightly, seeing where Kou has taken me. He nodded cheerfully as he held my hand and walked deeper into the room. "Do you even game?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"I can." He quickly defended himself before lightly pouting. "It's been ages, that's all." He added, clearing his throat as he head towards one. Lightly scoffing, I decided to follow him as he exaggeratedly stretched his arms before inserting coins into the slots.

Space Invaders.

"You're gonna lose, I'm telling ya." I said, being the supportive girlfriend I am. All he did was chuckle, having his full attention on the same. I sighed happily before hugging him from behind as I looked around the arcade. Apparently this has to be one of the most popular places for dates.

But isn't it where the males just shows off their gaming talent to us girls?

"It was a stupid game anyway." I averted my eyes back to Kou just seeing how he had already lost. Trying my best not to laugh, I patted his back and widely smiled.

"See? I told you!" I clapped my hands as he rolled his eyes. "Now what?"

"I'm honestly kinda hungry." Kou said, scratching his head. I looked at him in amusement before shaking my head. "What?" The Male asked me, seeing my reaction.

"You just played a game and you're already tired." I said walking ahead. Kou followed me from behind as I looked at the classic game of PAC Man. "I wanna play this." I said turning to face him. He nodded, signalling me to go ahead.

I giggled, putting the coins in before started moving the controllers about. Around mid game, I felt my boyfriend's arms snake around my waist and his head on my shoulders.

"I want a kiss." He pouted, causing me to shake my head. "But Y/Nnie~"

"I'm busy." I muttered, looking away from him. Not happy with this, Kou started to peck my neck as a distraction. "Kou!"

"I'm not doing anything." He whispered before continuing. I said to myself that I can resist him him and continue playing... My mind lies to me.

"Ok I give up." I sighed, turning my attention to him. He smiled in joy as he went to lean in-

SMASH!

I jumped at the sudden noise before seeing what happened. A large rock was thrown at the game besides us. It had paper wrapped out so curiously, I grabbed it and read;
