After exploring the zoo, looking at the giraffes, lions, penguins etc, Emilio's tummy started to rumble. I paused, crouching down towards him as he softly looked up at me.

Oh Emi...

"Someone's hungry?" Yuma asked. Emilio giggled as I poked my son's cheek, lightly before standing back up.

"Let's go and eat. I hightly doubt Emilio can last a while." I suggested, holding his hand.

"I don't know..." Kou started to talk as we all turned around and looked at him. "We already booked into a restaurant for 6 o'clock."

"Kou, shush your big mouth-!" Yuma sighed. "Now you're gonna make them feel bad." I sighed along with him as I glanced at the clock; It was already half past 4.

"That's fine, I'll get him something small to eat." I started but Mukami shut down my response.

"My boy is strong. I'm sure he can manage to wait for an hour and a half." Kou pouted.

"How do you know? It's not as if you were there for the past few years." I blurted out before I paused in realisation.

Shouldn't have said that...

Everyone, including Kou, looked at me surprised, as I gulped, looking down.

"Tch- And I wonder who's fault is that?" Kou muttered, hinting that he was pissed. Not wanting his heavy mood swings to trigger, I quickly removed Emilio and I out of the tensed situation, as I kept nibbling on my lip.

Stupid, why did I say that now out of all times? The sad thing was he was right; I was the cause of Emilio having an absent father.

"Mummy... Will I won't see Daddy again?" He asked, as I looked at him surprised.

"Listen, mister." I said, crouching down to his eye level. "Even if me and Daddy don't get along with each other, He will still see you. You're his son, why wouldn't you see him? He loves you, ok?" He nodded as I smiled, hugging him. "Let's look for something to eat, then I'll apologise to daddy, ok?"

"Okay!" He cheered. After walking around the zoo, we failed to find any food places And Emilio was getting more hungry by the second.

"{Y/N}, wait." I heard a girl's voice, as I lightly clicked my tongue.

Eva...

I turned around as she approached me, catching her breath. "Has he ate yet?" She asked, but I shook my head and sighed, feeling like I failed the most simple task. "Um... I've bought a snack bar, maybe he could eat it?" She asked, searching through her bag. I was about to reject her offer when another voice interrupted.

"Don't worry, dear. I've bought him a meal already." I turned my head to see Kou, with a paper bag in his hand. Emilio ran to him, smiling wildly as he hugged his leg.

"Hm, so you bought it?" I said, rolling my eyes.

"Hey {Y/N}, don't be rude." Eva pouted, touching my shoulders. "He was doing a father should do." I looked back her, folding my arms

"Still doesn't explain the fact that he acted like that earlier on." I added, as she nodded in agreement.

"Maybe. And I can agree with that." She started off. "But please don't be mad at him. Not to mention, you could possibly be in the wrong."

Girlfriends... What are they like?

I sighed again as I looked down knowing how painfully right she is.

"Enjoying your food, Lil one?" I asked as he nodded, continuing to eat. "Okay..." I looked up and looked at Kou, before looking away, playing with my sleeves. "You're forgiven... Kou" He smiled as he looked at Emilio.

"Thanks, I really appreciate it." He said before talking with Emi.

No but seriously, why's she getting involved? It's literally a thing me and Kou have to sort out.

Edited.
