"Who?" Kou snatched the letter away from me and read it, clicking his tongue in annoyance. I looked up at him and sighed, wondering if it's safe to say who. After all, Eva must have connections to find out that we were here. Even worse, where we go in general.

"I- I don't know." I stuttered, lightly gulping. He stared at me carefully, lifting my head up as he examined my face. Wait-

Please not the red eye.

Please not the red eye.

Please-

"What happened here, sir and miss?" I broke the gaze with him as I saw a staff member approaching us. I looked over at Kou, who sighed heavily.

"My girlfriend almost got hit... where was security?" Kou said in annoyance as I patted his back calmly.

"Kou... calm down." I muttered as he quickly shook his head. "I didn't get hit or injured, that's the good thing right?" I reminded him as he clicked his tongue again.

"But you're a mother too! I have to make sure you're ok for Emilio too." He heavily sighed as he faced me. "I promised him." My gaze softened as I looked down, biting my lip.

I really don't wanna tell him.

Sighing, I decided to remain quiet while Kou was trying to get to the bottom of this. It's hard to remember that Kou's still an idol as well as a person, so the consequences of dating them can be extreme, especially when it's fanbase.

"{Y/N}..." I looked back at Kou, humming softly as he notice me looking focus. "... Let's just go home." I nodded, annoyed that our date had to be cancelled as Kou firmly gripped my hand.

Now this is another thing to add onto my stress plate. Kou kept giving me glances, but I always smiled them off, not wanting to worry him.

If only I had the courage to call my mother...

"That's the 7th time you sighed for the past 5 minutes." Kou interrupted as he paused our track to face me. "What's on your mind?" I bit my lip, staring up at him.

"I was just... in shock, you know?" I said, scratching the back of my head. "It happened so suddenly, I personally feel targeted." He nodded before pulling me into a hug, as I buried my head into his chest.

"I'm gonna protect you, even if my life depends on it." Kou said, as my heart softened. "You mean so much to me I just... seeing you like this hurts me too." I looked up at him, seeing his weak gaze on mine. "... Let's get a takeout before we go home."

"I'd love that." I giggled softly before the smile on Kou came to life. He let me go and lead me to a nearby fast food place before going home.

"What movie do you wanna watch?" He asked, as we sat on the couch, leaning on each other. I shrugged, literally having no idea what's good to watch as Kou decided to play a random movie.

"Kou..." I started, mixing my food before starting at him. "When are you going back to work?" He glanced at me, before shaking his head.

"What do you mean, I'm working now." I raised my eyebrows as he leaned closer to my ears. "My job is to make you the happiest woman on the planet right?"
