"I'll go tell the others." Eva said, walking off, leaving us three alone. I rolled my eyes as I sat down next to Emilio, checking up on him.
"Kou... I'm sorry about what I said before. I-It just came-!" I started to apologise, but he shook his head.
"Don't worry about it. I should have let you do the work, because you're his mother." He smiled as I stood up and hugged him, smiling back.
"Let's work as a team, okay?" I said, looking up at him. "No more arguing."
"No more arguing." Kou repeated, as we both giggled. As we stopped hugging, I blushed realising that we are so close, as I started to gulp.
"Kou..." I muttered looking at his eyes. He smiled as he tuck a strand of my hair behind my ear.
Wait... No I can't-
I shook my head looking away, breaking our gaze. "Emilio, are you done?" I asked him, changing the topic, as the boy looked back on us.
"Yes." He answered. I smiled as I walked to him. I need to stay away from him... For good reasons. I sighed as I picked Emilio up.
"Look who it is?~" A voice said next to me. I smiled, knowing who it was.
"Ah, if it isn't the one who half teased me to death." I turned around seeing my closest friend, Nik.
"Uncle Nik!" Emilio giggled, putting his hands in the air. Nik high fived him back as he smiled.
"Hey Lil One." He said. "Anyway,
{Y/N}, can we talk for a moment?"
"Yeah." I smiled. I walked to Kou for him to carry Emilio.
Kou's POV
"Who's that guy?" I whispered to Emi. He grinned widely.
"That's mummy's boyfriend." Is that so?
"Emilio you know that's not true."
{Y/N} blushed. "Stop lying-!" The guy called Nik laughed as he had his arm around {Y/N}.
"So will he be my new dad?" Eh?! I froze. He's too pure...
"I'm your only dad." I hugged him. "So, no new dad for you, because I love you. And I love your mum so much, okay?"
"I wish you were together..." He sighed, leaning on my chest. I patted his back lightly as I walked away.
"Don't worry, little one. You're not the only one." I smiled. "I'll think of a way."
