Chapter 5: Father-Son Chat after Meeting

Dark Cacao's POV

Today is the first meeting without Pure Vanilla cookie as he was still under the curse from Dark Enchantress cookie. I have my armor on and my sword with my soul jam on it as Caramel Arrow cookie notifies me that the other cookies are here. I nodded as I got up of my chair and walked out of my office and started walking to the council room where the other three ancient cookies, the two professors of Parfaedia academy, Custard III cookie and Wizard cookie. They were all waiting for me to arrive as I told everyone to take a seat and started the meeting. We all started discussing about the cure and the effects of the cure. Hollyberry cookie stated that Raspberry cookie of House Raspberry reported an incident at Cranberry Forest that the same curse was caused by Licorice cookie, who was caught by Hollyberry cookie. I sighed as I continued to listen to the other cookies sharing their reports about their kingdom as my mind went elsewhere. My thoughts were always on Pure Vanilla cookie as I can see how gentle he was with animals and others cookies. I can see how his smiles brightens up those who are said. Then I can see him how hard-working he was when he cares about his kingdom and cookies of the kingdom. And I can see him-

Latte: Dark Cacao Cookie!

Dark Cacao: 😳 Ahem. My apologies, As for the report, no changes happened to Pure Vanilla cookie

Almond: I see, me and Latte cookie will be staying here for a week to check on Pure Vanilla cookie

Dark Cacao: Yes, I remember you mentioned it in the letter

Wizard: So for now, we will have another meeting in another few months?

Custard III: *sighs* Looks like back to paperwork

White Lily: *chuckles* At least you have matured a bit

Custard III: Well yes you're right about that, White Lily cookie

Hollyberry: I've been noticing that Dark Cacao Cookie has been in deep thought

Golden Cheese: Yeah, wonder what's up with him?

Dark Cacao: *takes a deep sigh* May I all ask you a question about something? And Latte cookie, take both Wizard cookie and Custard III cookie to their rooms and come back here

Latte: Alright, Alright come on

Custard III: Coming! *runs out of the council room*

Wizard: Wait up! *runs after Custard III*

Latte: I'm back! *closed the door behind her*

Almond: So what is the question you wanted to ask us?

Dark Cacao: *sighs* What are your thoughts about me having feelings for a cookie?

Hollyberry: What do you mean?

Golden Cheese: Did you like some cookie?

Almond: Hmmm... Don't tell me it's Pure Vanilla cookie

Dark Cacao: *nods* It is

White Lily: When did you have feelings for Pure Vanilla cookie?

Dark Cacao: After he mouthed 'I love you' before he was hit by the curse

I sighed and explained that I have been distracted with the thoughts of Pure Vanilla cookie. Golden Cheese cookie looked at me as Latte cookie just chuckled and told me that I would confess my feelings to him when he wakes up after drinking the cure. Hollyberry cookie just laughed loudly and said that I should confess my feelings to him with my heart. Then White Lily cookie also looked at me and said that as her friend and one of the five ancient heroes, she will support her friend's choices of liking some cookie like me. I mean look, I am some cookie who has little to no emotion and was know as an emotionless king of my kingdom. But after the final war with Dark Enchantress cookie, my heart sprouted little by little as I worried for Pure Vanilla cookie's life. Latte cookie and Almond cookie told me that I should rest up since it's the evening and we should sleep. I nodded and dismissed the others to go to their rooms and rest up for the day. I got up and walked out of the council room after everyone else left and started to walk my way back to the office. While I was going back to my office, I noticed Pure Vanilla cookie's door was open as I took a quick look and noticed White Lily cookie sitting at the side of his bed with a sad look on her face. I gently knocked on the door, getting her attention and asked what I was doing here.
