The Gate pt.2

Slight Trigger Warning.

Max and Lucas ran to the window, "It's my brother. He can't know I'm here.
He'll kill me. He'll kill us." Max said before Billy pulled into the driveway.

"Everyone stay here." Steve said pulling me aside. "Stay with the kids." I nodded and he went out the house.

"Am I dreaming, or is that you, Harrington?" I heard Billy ask. "Yeah, it's me. Don't cream your pants." I heard Steve's response which made me giggle.

"Get away from the windows you shitheads!" I whisper yelled. They all ducked down, "Shit! You think he saw us?" Dustin said. "Get behind me!"

Billy busted through the door. "Well, well, well. Y/n. What a surprise. Oh Lucas Sinclair." Billy approached him shoving me out the way.

"I thought I told you to stay away from him, Max." He looked down at her. "Billy, go away." She spat. "You disobeyed me. And you know what happens when you disobey me." Billy's eyes grew with anger.  "I break things." Billy went for Lucas but I pulled him back.

"You're so dead, Y/n! You're dead." He said grabbing me by the collar, he pushed me into a cabinet. My ears began to ring. He punched me in the face, I groaned in pain. He chuckled and I spat in his face. "You bitch! You're dead!"

"No. You are." I heard Steve say before grabbing Billy and punching him in the face. I fell to the ground, I touched my nose, wiping the blood away before getting up.

"Looks like you got some fire in you after all, huh? I've been waiting to
meet this King Steve everybody's been
telling me so much about." Billy said with disgust. "Get out." Steve shoved him with his finger, which Billy did not like.

He took a swing at Steve which Steve ducked at before punching him in the face. "Yes! Kick his ass, Steve!" "Get him!" "Murder the son of a bitch!" I heard the kids yell.

This was a moment I would use my powers but I didn't want to risk it.
"Steve!" I yelled as I watched Billy pick up a plate. Billy smashed it over Steve's head causing him to stumble and groan.

"No one tells me what to do!" Billy said as he grabbed Steve and flung him across the room "Whoo! Get up!" Billy got ontop of Steve and started punching him over and over "You're gonna kill him!" I screamed. I grabbed a picture frame and smashed it on Billy's head.

He chuckled before getting up, he grabbed me and slammed me to the ground. He straddled my lap and stared at me. He punched me in the face before grabbing my hands and placing them above my head with one of his hands.  He leaned forward and whispered in my ear, "This is what you deserve you slut." He kissed my lobe.  He sat up and punched me again.

The anger inside of be burst. "Fuck you." I said. He looked at me in shock, I used my powers to push him off me, causing him to slide across the room, I used my powers to grab a syringe. I walked over to him and stabbed it in his neck.

"The hell is this?" I  leaned down and whispered in his ear, "What you deserve."before taking the syringe out of his neck.

I grabbed his keys and tossed them to Max. "You drive. I don't wanna pass out halfway there." I said picking Steve up.

"Are we going or not!?" I said looking back at the kids who stared at me in awe.

I was in the seat next to Max telling her the directions. "Nancy?"I heard Steve say, the words made my heart sink.

"No, don't touch it. Hey, buddy...It's okay. You put up a good fight. He kicked your ass and y/n had to save you but you put up a fight." I chuckled at the last part.

"Okay, you're gonna keep straight for a half a mile,then make a left on Mount Sinai." I said looking up from the map.

"What's going on?" I heard Steve groan. "Oh, my God!" Steve yelled. "Just relax. She's driven before." Dustin reassured him. "Yeah, in a parking lot." Mike added "That counts."

"They were gonna leave you behind." I said. "Oh, my God." Was his only response.

"I promised that you'd be cool, okay?" I said. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What's going on? Oh, my God. No! Whoa!
Stop the car. Slow down." Steve started to panic. "I told you he'd freak out." Mike snapped. "Stop the car!"

"Everybody shut up! I'm trying to focus!" Max yelled. "Oh, wait, that's Mount Sinai. Make a left." I said looking down at the map them back up again.

"What?" "Make a left!" I spoke louder." Max turned causing the car to swerve.

We arrived at the patch and began to put on out gear.

"Oh, no. Guys. Hey, where do you think you're going? What are you, deaf? Hello?" Steve said trying to stop us. "We are not going down there." Steve said approaching me and Dustin by the boot. "Hey, there's no chance we're going to that hole, all right? This ends right now!" "Steve, you're upset, I get it. But the bottom line is, a party member requires assistance, and it is our duty to
provide that assistance. Now, I know you promised Nance that you would keep us safe. So, keep us safe." Dustin said, holding out Steve's bag with a bat.

Steve took ot and Dustin walked away, I looked up from the boot as I felt Steve staring at me. As soon as our eyes met his face dropped into a frown. "What did he do to you y/n?" He said walking closer to me. "You should see him." I said zipping up a bag and slinging it over my shoulder. I was about to walk past Steve but he grabbed my wrist gently. "What?" I said turning back. "Let me see." He said putting a finger under my chin, lifting my head up. "I'm fine Steve." I said pulling away and grabbing goggles and a bandana from my bag and putting it on.

We went to the hole and climbed down.

"Holy shit." I said looking around the tunnels. "Yeah, I'm pretty." Mike responded, I giggled and ruffled his hair. " I'm sure it's this way." "Are you sure, or you're certain?" "I'm 100% sure. Just follow me and you'll know." Mike said looking at all of us.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, hey, hey, hey. I don't think so." Steve spoke up and made his way to Mike, "What?" "Any of you little shits die down here, I'm getting the blame. Got it, dipshit? From here on out, I'm leading the way. Come on, let's go." Steve said grabbing the paper Mike once held and began moving. "Come on!" He said turning back to us.

"What is this place?" Max asked looking around as we walked. "Guys, come on. Keep moving." I heard Steve's echo. I was behind to make sure everyone at the back was okay.

"Shit!" I heard Dustin scream "Help! Help! Help!" "Dustin!" I ran over to him, his bandana was down. "Dustin!" "Dustin!" The kids shouted as they ran over.

"What happened?" I asked. "It's in my mouth! Some got on my mouth! Shit!" He started coughing, which made me panic.

"I'm okay."

"You serious?" I said. "Very funny, man." I heard Steve say before leaving with the others.

I helped Dustin up and we caught up with the others.

Steve stopped, "All right, Wheeler. I think we found your hub." Steve said, we were in a dome like thing with all the tunnels connecting to it.

"Drench it." Mike said, we all began to pout gasoline around the hub. We stood by the exit, Steve took a lighter in his hand flicked it open and threw it. The room filled with fire and we ran.

"Hey, this way!" Steve yelled. I heard Mike grunt. "Help! Help!" He yelled. We was being pulled by a vine. "Hold on!" I said pulling him, I was then grabbed by a vine, "Shit." I hit the side of the tunnel vines wrapped around me.

I heard chimes, just like that my atmosphere changed. I was now in a black void. "Y/n..." I heard a raspy voice say. I used my powers to set myself free. "Y/n..." the voice repeated. "We will meet again." It said, sending shivers down my spine. Before I could respond, I fell and I kept falling, just like the first time.
