The Time (Dream x Y/n)

Chapter 2 "Watch The Time"

Amelia dragged Y/n downstairs to go see what it was and the lights were off. Everything was so quiet and dark. The curtains were closed everywhere and there was eerie silence.

Then, the light came on. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!" Everyone shouted. It was Y/n's family and friends all there holding a cake. Y/n forgot all about what happened and began to celebrate with everyone else.

They were all partying and Y/n was opening presents when her mother asked a question. "Y/n where is Kevin? He is supposed to be here for your birthday."

Y/n froze and stopped smiling. "Don't tell me he forgot."

"No mum. He did. He is busy doing something right now and can't come over."

Everyone stopped at looked Y/n confused. Y/n could feel tears prick her eyes and the stares of everyone staring at her. "What could possibly be more important than his girlfriend's birthday?"

Amelia went over to Y/n and held her hand as Y/n desperately tried to not cry again. "Mum, some stuff happened while you all were gone." Amelia said to their mother.

"Did he end up in an accident?" Their mother asked worriedly. "Worse. He... cheated." Amelia said as Y/n was on the verge of tears. There were scattered gasps heard from the whole group.

Their mother was just shocked. It couldn't be right? She looked at Y/n and saw a tear roll down her face. He really did cheat on her. This was no prank.

Their mother tried to go over and comfort her but it didn't work. Y/n pushed her away gently to avoid breaking down completly into tears.

More tears ran down Y/n's face as their mother continued to ask her questions hoping to help and find out what exactly happened while they were gone.

Y/n just couldn't take it anymore and burst out crying as she ran up to her room. She ran inside, shut the door behind her and leaned against the now closed door.

She sat there, crying while holding her stuffed animal as she leaned against the door for what seemed like ages before she heard a knock on her door. "Sis it's me. Can you please open the door?"

Y/n got up and opened the door then sat on her bed. Amelia entered and sat down next to Y/n. "Y/n are you ok? You ran off crying and everyone is very worried about you."

"I'm fine. I just needed some space. Our mother isn't the best at comforting sometimes."

"She just wanted to know the whole story Y/n you can't blame her for that.

Besides, she knows the story now. I made sure to tell her all about it so she wouldn't ask you about it. Now let's please go back to celebrating your birthday. We were all having such a fun time."

"Alright. It's time I got over it anyways. He was an ass either way. Let's go open those presents!" Y/n said as they both cheered up and ran out the room to downstairs.

They got downstairs and everyone was suprised to see Y/n out of her room again and looking better than how she was when she left.

Y/n and Amelia ran over to the present and continued to open them and found all kinds of stuff from new socks and perfume to accessories for her pc and even a RAM card of 4gb.

Then, on the last present, it was a small box with inscriptions on it in Minecraft enchant table language. Thankfully, Y/n was obsessed with Minecraft so she knew exactly what it said,

"This helps with the time. Use it carefully. You will not age and this will not break. Only the original owner can use it, good luck my friend. May the time guide and communicate with you."

Y/n had no idea why it sounded so ridiculous.

"Why would a box have a note that's in Minecraft enchant table language and just be in riddles? Not even good ones too." Y/n said as she looked at the box some more.

"Does it say who gifted it?" Amelia asked.

"Not at all." Y/n replied.

Amelia held it up and asked if anyone had given it to Y/n. Everyone said no.

So if they didn't give it to Y/n, who did? Y/n opened the box, only to find a common pocket watch.
