Chapter 45 "Gaming"

Clay was on the ground almost in tears while Y/n towered over him, dabbing.
Celestia was doing a facepalm and Nick was pointing at Clay while laughing as hard as he could.

"What the hell have we just walked in on?"
Amelia said as she looked at Clay who had his face in the carpet.

"Oh hi Amelia!
I didn't think you would get back so soon...
So...you may be wondering what's going on..."
Y/n said as she stopped dabbing and looked at Amelia awkwardly.

"Um yeah...Nightmare scared the whole class because we weren't learning or anything. The kids were running around rampant."
Amelia replied as she gave Y/n a confused look.

"You should have seen what happened!"
Nick said before gasping for air and letting out a long and loud laugh.

"What happened to Clay while I was at school?"
Amelia asked.

"So you see, he challenged me to a manhunt..."

"I see where this is going."

"Yep...he lost and had kept on saying how he was on his A game today.
Then he lost."

"He should have known better. You are a pro at playing manhunt."
Amelia said as she took a seat.

"You bet I am!"

"I bet you can't beat me along with the rest of the hunters!"
Clay said as he got up and dusted himself off.

"Oh? Is that another challenge?"

"You bet it is!
You think that you are so good at manhunt. Let's see who wins this time!
The best hunters against you."
Clay said proudly.

"Deal.
I will take them down."
Y/n replied.

"I will get my friends to set up the server and get online. We will win for sure!"

"Don't count on it Clay.
Things might not go your way."
Y/n said with an evil smile.

"Yeah sure."
Clay said as he texted his friends, not even looking up from his phone to see that Y/n was smiling evily .

"This is not going to end well"
Both Midnight and Amelia said at the same time.

"Take it from me, a fellow genius, Y/n is going to wipe the floor with him.
Again."

"Oh you bet."

"Atleast we have front row seats do we not?"

"AHHH!
Who are you?!?"
Amelia screamed and jumped at the same time.

"I'm so sorry for not telling you about her dear."
Celestia said.
"She is Celeste, my very own counterpart."

"Wow. I didn't know you had a counterpart mum!"
Amelia said happily as she went over to Celeste and shook her hand.

"Yeah, Y/n was suprised too.
I told her about it today while you were at school."
Celestia replied.

"Cool!
Well, nice to meet you Celeste!"
Amelia said happily as she hugged Celeste.

"Sure. It's nice to meet you too."
Celeste said as she gently pat Amelia on the head.

"Mum?"
Amelia said as she quit hugging Celeste and turned to her mother.

"Yes dear?"
Celestia responded.

"Why is it that you and Y/n have a counterpart but I don't?
I kinda feel left out..."

"Don't worry about it Amelia."
Celestia said as she hugged Amelia and pat her on the back.
"Our bloodline has had counterparts for ages. It's only a matter of time before you get your own counterpart too."

"Really? Cool!"
Amelia said, cheering up a bit.

"Mhm!
And I bet your counterpart will be the most interesting of them all."

"You really think so mum?"

"I know so dear."

"Awww

Y/n said as she crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow.

"Right.

"Ok I messaged my friends!
I challenge you Y/n, to a manhunt!
5 hunters including me versus you!"
Clay said as he put his phone in his pocket.

"Oh you are on!"
Y/n replied as she got out her phone.

Clay also got out his phone and they began to discuss the rules and setup for the manhunt as well as the version to play on.

The others joined in and they eventually agreed on how to do the manhunt.
Y/n would call her mother's discord account that was on the TV and then Y/n would screenshare as she played against the hunters so the whole family could see.

Both Y/n and Clay would record as they played just incase they wanted to make a video about it for Clay's channel.

So, they decided on it all and Nightmare teleported himself and Clay back to their house to play on Clay's pc. Y/n's family all got snacks to watch Y/n play and so it began,
The Ultimate Manhunt.

Hi, author here, I have some kind of practice exams coming up next week (will last about a week) so I will be trying to study for that meaning the updates may be a biiiit slower,

But I won't be just completely stopping either so have no fear, I'm still here (Even if it's my ghost from not having passed the exams lol)
