Chapter 36 "One Lesson Left"

With Midnight and Nightmare,

Midnight got to Amelia's school and stood at the gate, smiling evily as she observed her surroundings.

Then, Nightmare broke the silence.

"We, are going to cause chaos and destruction, right?"

"Of course we will you idiot!"

"I just wanted to make sure.
No need to be so damn rude about it."

"Whatever. You are starting to sound a lot like Y/n so shut the hell up and follow me."

"Do we have to be quiet?"

"We don't have to but pretend it's a stealth mission."

"I'm just going to walk in. You can continue sneaking around like if people could see you."

*Sigh*
"You have no imagination anyways."
Midnight said as she snuck around, going from doorway to doorway, trying to not be seen even if she was invisible.

Nightmare simple walked down the quiet hallway as Midnight snuck around. He rolled his eyes a few times and tried to ignore Midnight who was acting so childish.

"I don't see the point in trying to sneak around Midnight. Nobody can see us to begin with.
Or even hear us as a matter of fact."

"Just shut up. We are here."
Midnight said as she phased through a door.

Nightmare followed after her and entered the classroom. It was full of students and looked like an auditorium of sorts.

Midnight spotted Amelia sitting at the top and ran up the stairs towards her.
The thunking of Midnight running up the stairs almost echoed in the room.

"Class, who is running?"

The teacher asked as he turned around. Nobody responded and Midnight began to tiptoe up the stairs instead.

"Running in class is strictly prohibited.
Who was running?"

The teacher asked again, to no response from the class. A few kids looked pale, thinking there might be a ghost.
The teacher however, thought it was because they had been running or because they knew who was running.

"You two, up in front.
Why are you so pale?
Do you know who was running?"

"No sir."

One of them responded.

"Then why do both of you look so pale?"

"There wasn't anyone running sir, we think it might have been a ghost..."

The other responded.
The teacher wasn't pleased with their response.

"A ghost? As a Physics teacher, I can assure you that there are no such things as ghosts."

The teacher said this very confidently.
Midnight picked up on his confidence and began to run up and down the stairs.
