The Time (Dream x Y/n)

Chapter 9 "Back Then"

Amelia was in the middle of getting bullied. Amelia was holding her face in her hands as other kids were around her laughing. True, there were all frozen in time but Y/n could hear their laughter even then.

It reminded her of when she was back in school being bullied. She could hear the laughter and see their laughing faces. Y/n went over and pushed them all away from Amelia before hugging her and unfreezing time.

The clock went back to ticking and everyone stopped laughing as they fell back from Y/n's push. Y/n was mad yet a bit scared. It reminded her of a few years back.

But since Y/n had her finger on the button, she accidentally pressed it. She collapsed onto her knees and everything went black. When Y/n opened her eyes, her reflection was staring back at her.

It startled her but then she began to look at it more. It was like if she looked in the mirror but it just felt...different somehow. Like if it was...evil.

Then, it grinned. Y/n fell back and her reflection stepped closer to her. It was not her reflection anymore. It was it's own being.

"Hello."

"Who are you? What do you want?" Y/n asked as she tried to crawl backward and away from this creature.

"I am you. Can't you recognize me?"

"You are not me!"

"Of course I am. Who else would I be? Your ex?"

"Shut up! I don't look like that and I don't talk like that!"

"Oh shush. I am your other side. The evil side. And I am here to convince you to get rid of your lying ex and his pretty little bit-"

"No! Never! It's wrong to do that kind of stuff! I will never give in like that!"

"You underestimate my power. Who do you think got you that watch? Just kidding. I don't know either."

"Talk about useless." Y/n muttered.

"Hey! I heard that!"

"Good. Now either hang out with me permanently or leave me the fuck alone."

"Fine. I will show up around you and bother you all day."

"Won't others see and hear you?"

"Nope. Just you."

"Great so people will just think I have lost it."

"Yep."

"Got any good jokes?"

"What do you even mean by that?"

"Gee. And here I thought you were smart. I'm going to be in this place for quite awhile I presume, so do you know any good jokes to pass the time?"

"I only know one good joke..."

"And what is that?"

"...Your mom."

"You suck."

"I don't. I'm the only cool person in your house."

"Yeah, no. My pc is cooler than you."

"It overheats."

"Exactly."

"I'm not talking to you anymore. You suck."

Suddenly, the black began to give away and revealed Y/n at the front of the school where she was before the place went dark. Y/n got back up and rubbed her eyes as they hurt from the sun.

Her eyes adjusted and Y/n got the watch out of her hoodie pocket. She pressed the button and everything unfroze again.

Amelia didn't hear the laughter anymore and looked up to see her big sister standing infront of her looking pissed at the bullies.

"Hello Y/n." Said a voice from behind. Y/n didn't pay attention to it. Then, her other side was infront of her.

"I said hello you piece of shit."

"Get out my sight. All of you!" Y/n yelled to the bullies and her counterpart. The bullies left but her counterpart stayed.

"Hellooo? Y/n are you deaf?!?"

"Are you ok Amelia? Are you hurt? Did they hurt you?"

"I'm fine Y/n. Thanks big sis."

"No problem, sister" Y/n said with a smile as she nudged Amelia.

"It's like I'm invisible! I can't believe you! Just ignoring me like that! The audacity!" Her counterpart said as she crossed her arms and huffed.

Y/n grabbed Amelia by the hand and they went running back home as they laughed about what happened at school that day as Y/n's other side grumbled the whole way there, cursing Y/n out at the top of her lungs.

They got back to the house and their mother went over to hug Amelia. "How was your day sweetie?"

"It was average mum. Y/n and I managed to do something fun on the way back. I guess she isn't a total stick in the mud" Amelia said as she nudged Y/n and ran off to her room.

"Amelia how dare you! I'm always fun! I'm the one who plays games all day!" Y/n said as she went after Amelia.

*Sigh*
"Here we go again."
