Chapter 47 "[Diamonds] achievement"

Y/n fell down towards the lava which she thought was closer than it actually was.
This would have been the end for Y/n if it wasn't for the small Warped biome there underneath, letting Y/n fall gracefully into some of it's vines, taking zero fall damage in the process.

Quickly, she got her bearings and continued to run.
Y/n saw a ledge up in the sky above her and began to tower when the blocks she was placing sounded weird.

It sounded doubled.

She stopped placing blocks but the sound continued. Y/n quickly finished towering up and saw that Clay was just about to finish towering too.

Y/n sprinted towards him and then slowly walked back, indicating she wanted him to come fight her.

Clay jumped from his pillar to the ledge and Y/n placed a block right where he was about to land, blocking him and causing him to fall down.

With his quick thinking, he placed a few blocks on the side of the pillar, stopping any further fall damage but he was very low.

Y/n wasn't about to take her chances with fighting Clay so she ran and didn't look back.
In the distance, she saw a wall that either hadn't loaded in yet or was a Fortress.

She quickly acted and changed the direction of where she was running to where the weird wall was.
As she got closer, she realized it wasn't something that hadn't loaded in yet or a Fortress. It was a Bastion.

Y/n has reached the achievement [Those Were The Days]

"You have got to be kidding me."
Clay said with a sigh.

"It's not like she can get that far anyways. We are already catching up to her haha!"

"George! Don't give away our plan!"

"You are the one giving away that we have one!"

"Guys, chill.
You don't need to worry about any plans since I'm obviously going to win."
Y/n said as she looted the chests and fought the piglin brutes.

"I think you won't~"

Dream has reached the achievement [Those Were The Days]

"How?!?"
Y/n yelled as she ran for her life.

Clay immediately caught up with her and attacked her, not paying attention to where he was running, falling into a pit with piglin brutes.

"Y/n help meeee!"
Clay said as he desperately tried to hit them away.

"Nah."
Y/n said before hitting him from above and getting him low.

The brutes continued to attack Clay and he soon just had to run for it. Some more brutes blocked his path to Y/n so he went in the other direction, hoping he would get out of the Bastion to regen.

While Clay was struggling to stay alive, Y/n was struggling to speedbridge without falling.
Her hands were shaking, knowing that she might lose this manhunt made her very nervous.
But, she had to win.

To show her family, to show her friends, to show Clay.

That's when she found a Fortress.
Y/n dug a few blocks down under some piglins and threw them all the gold she got from the Bastion before running into the Fortress to get blaze rods while the piglins traded.

She got the blaze rods, ran over to the spot with the piglins, and found over a stack of Ender pearls along with some fire resistance potions and soul speed boots, along with many different blocks and spectral arrows.

Y/n sorted her inventory to keep as much as she could and made some iron armor using what she found in the Fortress and Bastion, ending up with almost full iron armor, getting the
[Suit Up]
achievement too.

Using the soul speed boots, she traversed the soul sand valley and got a bit ahead of Clay and the others who hadn't really show up yet.

Y/n wasn't all that worried about them not showing up. That was until they got the
[Diamonds]
achievement.
And soon after them laughing a bit at having acquired Diamonds, the
[Cover Me In Diamonds]
achievement.

Very quickly, they were all on her trail again. So, she began to return to the portal, grabbing some soul sand blocks and combined with the soul speed and some lag, she used it to run and then land on repeatedly, making a path of it and going at fast speeds.

It wasn't long before she was back at the original portal, with the others on her tail. Right behind her actually.
As soon as she loaded into the overworld and began to run, they came thru the portal too.

They ran for what seemed like ages, with a few pit stops to get food and a final stop, when Y/n encountered a tall mountain.
That, is when she got an idea.
