Chapter 42 "Going To Y/n's House"

Everyone was digging into the pancakes and complementing Y/n along with Midnight for having cooked them so well.

"These are pretty good pancakes.
Thank you Y/n, Midnight."

"I cooked all of them."
Midnight said proudly.

"She cooked most of them but I put the maple syrup and butter on them."

"I get most of the credit."

"She gets half of the credit."

"Either way, it's really good. Thanks Y/n."
Clay said.

"I- Uh- Sure!"
Y/n stuttered as she blushed.

"Just get together already geez."

"I agree."
Said Amelia

"Amelia!
Do you know what, I'm taking you to school and the counterparts won't let you leave school early this time."

"You wouldn't!"
Amelia said dramaticly.

"I will!
And you ain't going to be repeating what you said either!"
Y/n said while standing up.

Y/n wasn't going to really do such a thing but she was pissed and wanted to get a point across, even if it was jokingly.

"Speaking of school Amelia, you have to get ready to go now."

"Haha!"

"It's not funny Y/n."

"Sorry Amelia, it's pretty amusing.
Well atleast it is to me."

"I'm just going to get ready for school."
Amelia said before storming off dramaticly.

"Nightmare?"
Y/n said.

"Yeah?"

"Could you please accompany Amelia to school and at school?"

"I guess so. But why?"

"Midnight and I will teach her how to fight back this weekend but for now I need you to keep her company since she has no friends at school and since there are still bullies there."

"How about we-"

"No."
Y/n interrupted.
"No pushing anyone into the void.
That was a one time thing, not a constant thing."

"Midnight was right, you are no fun."

"I would rather be no fun than pushing everyone who is rude to me into the void."

"Nightmare get over it just this once.
Y/n has a much better argument this time."

"...Fine."

"Thanks Midnight. So what do you want to do in the meantime?"

"I'm going to hang out with the other counterparts along with Snapnap while you hang out with Clay and make Nick be a third wheel."

"I guess I wouldn't mind."
Nick said with a smirk while looking at Y/n.

"Don't even fucking think about it you two."
Y/n said as she tried to leave the room.

"Why not?"
Clay asked Y/n, making her freeze in place.

"C'mon Y/n, you know you want to hang out with Clay."
Midnight said with an evil smirk.

"T-That's not true-
You are lying"
Y/n said, sounding really in denial.

"You know you want to~"
Midnight teased Y/n

Then, Y/n remembered something.
Her along with Midnight and Clay had agreed to introduce Clay to her mother.

"I just remembered, Clay you are going to meet my mother, we don't have time for anything else."
Y/n said, trying to avoid talking about hanging out with Clay and making Nick be a third wheel.

"You got out of it this time.
But believe me, tomorrow is a whole new day."

"Yeah yeah. Just go hang out with the others already."
Y/n said as she shooed Midnight away.

"Don't rush me.
See you after school Amelia!"
Midnight said as she waved and opened a portal.

Midnight jumped thru the portal and Snapnap walked over, waved at Amelia and let himself fall backwards into the portal.

"Finally, she is gone.
I hope you have fun at school today Amelia!"

"Thanks sis."
Amelia said as they hugged and Amelia left for school along with Nightmare who was tasked with making sure she got there safely.

"Soooo, Clay, Nick, do you want to meet my mum? I think she would love to meet my new friends."

"Clay just got friendzoned!"
Nick said with a laugh.

"Nick shut up."
Y/n said as she crossed her arms.

*Laughter Continues*

"Nick, I mean it."
Y/n said, sounding more serious.

*Chuckle*

"That's it! I'm tearing him to pieces!"
Y/n said as she ran after Nick and chased him around the house as Nick continued to laugh and Clay wheezed.

"Y/n it's ok!"
Clay said with the small breath of air he had left after wheezing so much.

"No, I'm going to catch him and kill him!"
Y/n said as she continued to chase Nick.

"How about we play Manhunt later and kill him there?"
Clay said, trying to reason with Y/n before she actually caught Nick.

"Alright, fine."
Y/n said as she slowed down and came to a full stop.

"Here, have some water."
Clay said as he poured a cup of water for Y/n.

"Thanks Clay.
Now let's go visit my mom to tell her about you two."
Y/n said before drinking all the water in the cup.

"Yep, let's head out."
Clay said as they both started to walk to the door.

"Nick, you coming?"
Y/n said as she turned around.

"Yeah!
Don't think you can just leave me here!"
Nick said as he ran over to them and out the door.
