51 - (Alt.) dads alway know

Louis POV
I nodded and shook my hips "watermelon sugar, high", I danced around the kitchen as I attempted another wonderful Louis Tomlinson Styles breakfast. I got distracted with singing to my husband and some how burned all the waffles I was making what the hell... Anyways. Todays Audrey's family reunion, Harry had to go to a meeting this morning with his team about some upcoming TV appearances he has, but once he's home the three of us are gonna go. Beau really wanted us both to take her. I can tell she's worried about Audrey forgiving her, I understand from Audrey's point of view why Beaus apology the first time didn't seem as sincere but you can tell she really means it. As soon as we told her Lucas was with someone else she immediately thought of Audrey. I hope she forgives her.
"Good morning honey" I said cheerfully when I saw Beau come down the stairs. She was already ready, but of makeup and hair done and she was wearing her favorite sweater that Audrey got her. "Good morning dad", I could hear in her tone that she was nervous. I smiled "hungry? I made the worlds most delicious breakfast" I said wiggling my brows as I presented her with partially burnt waffles and scrambled eggs. She chuckled "daddy I thought dad bought you a waffle maker... so you just had to fill the batter and then you're done". I pursed my lips "as a matter of fact... I used it" I said making her laugh a bit. She started eating and I sat down with her, "oh your dad said he would pick up a bouquet on the way home for you to give audrey", she smiled "thanks dad... I should have listened to you guys from the get go" she said slightly defeated and annoyed probably with herself. I hummed softly "well, this may not be what you want to hear but there's nothing you can do about it now. You just have to remember going forward how this situation ended and how you felt during it, and learn from it. Your dad and I don't tell you things because we are trying to keep you from having what you want or like, we have your best interest at mind always remember that my darling" I finished with a smile. She nodded "I know, I'm gonna make it up to Audrey, I won't lose my bestfriend. And I promise I will try and listen more when you guys tell me something", I nodded "good, now let's hurry and finish eating".

Beaus POV
I sighed as I sat in the back seat. We were about 20 minutes from the reunion, it started in 30. I wanted to make sure I was early so I could find her and talk to her before all her family was there. I didn't want to embarrass her in any way. I looked at the bouquet my dad got for me to give her, it was purple ribbon and a bunch of sunflowers and daisies and a few roses. It was beautiful. "Thank you guys again for doing this" I said to my dads , Harry smiled at me softly in the rear view mirror as my dad talked "of course, have you thought about what you're gonna say?". I hummed "yeah a bit but I think I'm just going to let what comes to me in the moment come to me. And I'll just tell her the honest truth" I admitted. He smiled at me and reached his hand back, I held his and smiled softly. Please forgive me.

I glanced back at my dads who were parked in the lot of the venue her family rented. They gave me a reassuring smile and I continued through the main entry building. It was mostly going to be outdoors, the weather was actually perfect for being outside today. I held the bouquet in one arm as I looked for her. I just needed to see that long head of blonde hair... there. She walked in from the door leading to the outdoor area. She walked to a bathroom off to the side of the front area not even seeing me. I took a deep breathe and followed her in and stood by the door. Maybe I should have waited outside the bathroom... oh god I heard a flush. She stepped out and immediately froze seeing me "uh hey" UH HEY come on Beau. "Beau? What are you doing here.", she looked sad and confused but not mad thankfully. I sighed "I came to apologize. For real". She started washing her hands not really looking at me but I continued anyways. "Look you're right. I shouldn't have just apologized because of what happened. I should have kept my promise to you because you mean WAY more to me than some guy I barely know. I just had a stupid obsessed crush and that's no excuse for what I did with bailing on you. And you're completely right to be mad with me but I just need you to know I truly am sorry and as soon as they told me I couldn't care less about him I just realized how much of a bitch I was being to you. You're right I was being a dumb girl following some guy around I will never ever do that or anything like that to you again. And I swear I will spend every day remembering this so I don't ever do anything like it again. I love you Audrey. And I'm so sorry." I let out a small breathe after my whole spew of words. By this point she was standing in front of me with her arms crossed. She kind of just stared at me for a moment like she was thinking. I held the flowers out to her not expecting anything but she grabbed them. She sighed and said "I'm glad you came Beau". I smiled the widest smile I could have possibly smiled as she hooked her free arm with mine and said "I assume your dads drove you here, you can go tell them you don't have to leave" she said with a little chuckle. I smiled "yeah they did. They kept telling me how wrong I was by the way, they really love you like I do" I said making her smile. I ran out to them and told them happily she accepted my apology. They were happy for me of course and told me to have fun and they would see me later, I ran back to Audrey and she linked our arms again. "Hey Beau?" She said as made our way to where all her family were. "Yeah Audrey?" I said turning to look at her, "thanks for coming seriously. I hoped you'd change your mind", I smiled "I shouldn't have ever made the decision not to, I'm glad I'm here too".
