chapter 18 - secret

-2 months later-

Beau's P.O.V

I walked in front of the cameras, I stopped and smiled "Beau look here!" "look here" I just kept smiling and looking at different cameras. It was already December 1st so 'Mulberry' was going to be premiering Christmas eve. I was at the Emmy awards with my cast from 'Mulberry' and this was so exciting because we flew to America for it. Harry and my dad are here of course, Harry is actually up for some awards so I was excited for him, he is going to win I know it. He said he was up for something called a 'Grammy' and that the movie he is in is up for an 'Oscar', I'm still learning what all that stuff means. I looked at Harry and my dad, Harry was getting photographed but he kept glancing at Louis and smiling at him. I have a secret that I haven't told anyone, I'm saving it for my birthday. I'm gonna use my birthday wish to ask for my secret to come true. I smiled and walked up to Harry "hey there she is" he said ignoring the cameras and looking at me. I giggled and paps yelled "Beau smile with harry". He smiled and leaned down a bit and I smiled widely, He took my hand and stepped back and I giggled and held the end of my dress out a bit and he smiled and held up a hand saying "thank you" to the paps and followed me as I walked over to my dad. I kissed his cheek before going back to my cast.After paparazzi took pictures of all of us we were led to our seats, Harry made it so we were in the row right behind his which is exciting. My daddy is Harry's plus one so he's sitting next to Harry.

As I sat there my friend Audrey, who plays Camilla, and I kept giggling and talking about peoples outfits we liked. We got up and danced a couple times and I squealed when they played Harry's song 'Kiwi'. I told Audrey why I loved the song so much and we danced together. I was friends with everyone on the cast but Audrey and I got along the best. She's blonde and I was brunette so we say it's like were the perfect fit. The awards show started and they started with T.V shows, I didn't know any of them, my daddy said they're more for grown ups. Then they went into movies and when they said 'Dunkirk' my daddy and Harry and some other guys sitting around Harry clapped. "And the Oscar goes to... Christopher Nolan's 'Dunkirk' !" Harry stood up and hugged my daddy, I squealed and clapped and he smiled at me before he and some of his cast members hugged and followed an older guy on stage. My daddy told me the man giving the speech was the director, thats important in case you were wondering. After the speech everyone clapped and they walked back to their seats. They went onto the musical theater and then they moved to Grammy's. "Up for the Grammy for best album is... Camilla Cabello with her album 'Camilla Cabello'... Ed Sheeran with his album 'Divide'.." "Oh I love Ed Sheeran" I said and Audrey giggled. Harry leaned back and said "me too" making me chuckle. "Taylor Swift with 'Reputation'.." I shrugged "I don't really like her.." I said to Audrey and she nodded "... I knew I liked you" Harry said high fiving me and I giggled again with Audrey. "And Harry Styles with 'Harry Styles'" I clapped and screamed and my dad and Harry's friends clapped too. "And the Grammy for best Album goes to...... Harry Styles with 'Harry Styles!" I jumped up clapping and he smiled standing up and hugged and kissed my dads cheek making me giggle, he hugged some of his cast members and walked up on stage. After everyone stopped clapping he hugged the hosts and stood at the microphone "wow... thank you so much to everyone who's voted. Really the fans are so dedicated... and I would be nowhere with out you... I want to thank my team and my friends and family who helped me with this as well ...thank you to Louis for being supportive to me and everyone who helped bring my visions to life, Beau and everyone else... and ...yes thank you" I smiled when he thanked my daddy and I, I looked at my daddy and his face was red. He blew kisses and did a small praying thing and bowed. That's funny my dad does that too. After he thanked everyone, everyone clapped and he sat back down. My dad leaned over and whispered something to Harry and they smiled at each other, I smiled before Audrey and I started talking about after the awards. Eloise, who was our crew manager said that we were all going out to dinner for our first times in America then going to the hotel. All the kids had a separate room with their parents since everyone's parents came with us but I already asked my daddy and I get to stay with Audrey in her hotel room and were going to have a sleep over. 

After the award show was over I hugged my dad and Harry and went with everyone, I was really excited because we were going back on the carpet for an interview with 'Seventeen Magazine'. Eloise said that we were individually going to be asked a few questions and some as a group. They had the boys go first after they were cleaned up a bit and while they went Eloise helped us fix our dresses and such. I was the last one to go individually, I smiled as the interviewer started "Beau who is playing the character 'Rose' is here with us also, Beau so nice to meet you" I smiled "so nice to meet you too" "so tell us about 'Mulberry'" I smiled as I spoke into the mic "yes I love it actually, it's a really fun series and I think it's very different from other shows out there where we're kids playing the roles of adults but there is comedy and romance as well as a nice Christmas message". She smiled "so is it a show or a movie?" I nodded "well it's actually a t.v series... were showing the first episode on Christmas and then an episode every day after and the last episode is on New Years" she smiled "awesome awesome.. so you have gotten fairly close to Harry styles haven't you?".  I nodded "yes he is my daddy's boyfriend" I said proudly "so can you help us confirm rumors that your mom was angry about your dad dating a famous star?" my smiled dropped "mum...? I don't have a mum..." I paused, this isn't about Mulberry?  "no one is angry miss... my daddy is happy, Harry is happy and I am as well. I don't mean to be rude but this is about Mulberry not my family". I let out a soft quiet breathe, I rarely get angry but when people start rumors about my daddy or Harry. that's when I get what my grand mum calls "the Tomlinson temper". "of course I'm sorry.. well thank you for talking to us" I nodded and gave a small smile before walking to Audrey. 

"Are you okay?" Audrey asked and I nodded "I'm sorry Beau she was told to stay on topic, you handled that very well" she said smiling at me. I smiled and nodded and Audrey hugged me. "ignore them Beau... they say Americans love drama" I giggled and we interlocked elbows. After everything was done we went to dinner and paparazzi were there as we pulled up, Eloise said its for 'promo' of the show. It was really fun and we had a private area for dinner and we all talked and laughed and had some cool American food, Later we went back to the hotel and I went with Audrey to her hotel, Her parents let us have the bedroom so we could have a movie night and be kinda loud without bothering everyone. We were laying in a fort we made laughing as we had Beauty and the Beast playing in the background. When it got later we were just laying there watching the movie "Audrey?" she turned and looked at me"yeah" I played with my pajama shirt "is it weird that I don't have a mum?" "I don't think it is... you have your dad and Harry which is just as cool... maybe better... don't tell my mum" she said making us both giggle. "I wonder why that lady asked if my mum was angry when I don't even have one" she reached don and held my hand "hey forget her Americans are drastically in love with making drama, that's what Eloise said and she is never wrong" I giggled "thanks Audrey, your the bestest friend ever" she smiled and kicked her foot up "of course I am". I laughed and hit her with my pillow "hey!" we both laughed before falling back into the blankets.
