I laughed as Audrey threw a piece of her chicken nugget at Ethan. Ever since the party they have gotten really close and so have he and I. He really helped me. Lucas and I have gotten closer to and I think I'm starting to like him as more than just a friend. I know it's been obvious I had a small crush but maybe he could be my first boyfriend? I don't know, I should just talk to Audrey about it.
I felt my phone buzz and I checked my texts, my dad texted me that officer James would come by after school to hire us an update. I just wish they could hurry up and find out who it was so this could be over with.
After the bell rang Audrey and I threw out plates away and walked towards our class rooms. "So I need advice" I said and she chuckled "why are you nervous?" I stopped twirling my hair, not even realizing I had started doin. It. "Do you think Lucas might.. like me?" She looked at me then looked ages. "Why do you want to ask that?" I shrugged "well our homecoming is in a month.. maybe he would ask me or maybe he and I could start-" "woah woah.. you want to DATE him?" She said looking at me. I smiled "yeah maybe.. I've never had a boyfriend before" she rolled her eyes. "Beau you don't NEED a boyfriend.." "I know Ri but.. I want one" she turned forward again and shrugged "well don't push for something too hard just leave things how they are.. what if he only sees you as a friend and you tell him you like him and teen he says he doesn't like you and he stops being your friend. Then what?" I bit my lip I didn't think of that. "Yeah you're right.. thanks Ri" I smiled and hugged her before going towards my classroom.

By all during class I couldn't help wonder what if he does like me? What if I tell him I like him and he likes me back and it works out? That's it. I'm going to tell him I like him... well eventually. When the times right I will.

After school was over I slipped up to Audrey, Nick, Lila and Ethan. "Hey guys" "there she is" Ethan said poking my arm. I chuckled " what's everyone doing today?" Audrey asked "I sadly have to go to my study group.. which my mums waiting to take me to.. gotta run!" Lila said waving and hurrying to the pick up area. "We have practice" Nick said sliding His hoodie on "isn't it supposed to rain?" Audrey asked. "Yeah but that's what these are for" Ethan said featuring to himself as he zipped up his grey hoodie...wait.. why does this feel like déjà vu?? Nick pulled his hood over his head "well it will help for a bit at least" Audrey chuckled but I was staring at Ethan as he pulled his hood up "alright girls we'll see you later" Ethan said and he and Nick ran off. I stared at Ethan from the back and got a flashback to the night of the party.. someone had bumped into me wearing the same exact- "no way..." I whispered. Audrey looked at me "what?" I didn't move. There is no way it was Ethan, he helped me.. why would he do that?
"Beau you look like you've seen a ghost what's up?" I turned and looked at her "Beau... what's going on".

"Audrey stop" I said trying to grab her arm but she wouldn't stop. She was walking with so much passion in each step I was surprised the ground didn't break under her feet. She stormed into the practice field not caring that they were doing drills. "Audrey stop" I said but she ignored me and stormed right up to Ethan "YOU LYING and FAKE ASSHOLE" "damn" some people said as practice completely stopped "woah Audrey what's wrong?" He said standing up right. I had already called my dads and they said they would come to the school with officer James.
"You fucking roofied Beau!? What the hell was that supposed to do? What were you gonna try to tape her if Lucas and I weren't around! Were you going to-" "woah Audrey what the hell? I was the one who helped you and Beau remember?" I furrowed my brow "Audre-" "She saw your hoodie genius. She saw the hoodie that you had on when you bumped into her and slipped it into her cup!" "Audrey I didn't do-" "you're lying and you know it". Audrey yelled back pointing a finger in his face. "Audrey this is a closed practice you need to-" "I'm not going anywhere until he admits what he did" "I'm not admitting that because I didn't do it" "LIAR" "I didn't-". His head turned and I gasped along with everyone else. Audrey lowered her hand taking a couple deep breathes "Audrey" I heard my dads voice say from behind me. I turned around and Harry gave me a nod and I walked to Audrey and took her hand pulling her away "Ethan you need to come with me. We will call your parents on the way to the station" Officer James said as he cuffed Ethan. Everyone was silent as they watched. I hugged Audrey. I could feel her shaking she was so mad "hey it's okay" I said rubbing her back "I didn't mean to lose it" she said pulling away and looking at me. I smiled "it's okay.. thanks for always defending me" she smiled and put her arm around me "come on.. we have to make sure his ass is exposed".

As we followed my dads to the car Lucas ran up "hey Beau you're still here.. is everything okay?" I looked over to my dads in the car and held up a finger telling them to give me a minute. Audrey looked at him keeping our arms hooked "Ethan was the one who roofied her so we have to go" she said tugging. Me to the car. I turned around and mouthed "text me?" He nodded and smiled a small smile and nodded.

The station took forever. Ethan's parents came down and of course made a huge scene saying that he was innocent. But officer James said that a few other students said they did see someone in a grey hoodie bump into me and when they showed them Ethan's hoodie they said it was the same one.. he hasn't confessed yet but Audrey said that he will crack in no time.
Eventually we went home and Audrey decided to stay over. I sighed as we were leaned against my head board watching Toy story (Audrey let me pick the movie, and I love Disney movies) "What's on your mind?" She asked looking at me. I shrugged "I just don't get why Ethan would do that" she sighed and I laid my head on her shoulder "I wish it was just us in the world sometimes" She hummed "then it is just us" I held up my pinky promise?"she smiled hooking hers with mine "always".
