Chapter 49 - matchmaker

Louis P.O.V
"Harry I am not over reacting.. something is going on with Beau and we need to talk to her" "she has always been open with us Lou we should let her come to us" "screw that we are talking to her, ever since the dance she has been very quiet and unsure... she has barley spoken to us in a week" I started as I headed to the hall. Harry slid in front of me "Lou... she is sixteen okay? I'm worried too but she is growing up and she will come to us when she feels ready.." I huffed and crossed my arms. "I know I know... you hate when I'm right" "yes I hate when you're right because I want to be right" I huffed making him chuckle and hug me. He rubbed my arm soothingly "besides she has Audrey to talk to so I'm not too too worried". I nodded "yeah you're right...". 

I sat in my small love seat and organized files for an upcoming event. I have been working a lot more from home and had Zayn at the office more over the past couple years because I wanted to be here for Beau more. Harry also held off on touring until next year so we could both be here. But Harry still had a lot of work to do and so do I. Not to mention we have to keep up with Niall as he manages Beau's career. I heard a knock at the door "dads?" "come in darling" Harry answered. He was sat on the bed with his guitar working on music. "She slowly walked in and sighed "can you guys take a break for a minute?" I nodded setting my laptop on my side stand "what's up".

She sat on the edge of the bed and I moved on the bed as Harry set his guitar to the side carefully. "I really need to talk to you guys... and I know I haven't been my usual self but I just haven't known what to do or say or even think". "Honey what's going on?" I asked concern was evident in my tone. "Something happened at the dance...something confusing and I-I just... I have been a bit lost". "Beau you don't have to be afraid to tell your father or me anything" Harry said touching her face gently. she nodded as I took her hand "Well Lucas had been acting weir all night... and I kept waiting for something to happen to make me sure that he was... the one I guess.... but instead I found out he had been using me to get his ex back...". Harry and I both sighed softly giving each other a knowing look of anger and understanding. "I'm so sorry Beau that is wrong of him on many levels" I said and she nodded "I know it is and I'm not even upset anymore... I cried in  the moment but Audrey followed me to the hall and comforted me" I nodded "okay then what's wrong?" Harry asked. "Audrey.... told me she's in love with me" "I KNEW IT" Harry said startling Beau. I looked at Harry and did the motion to knock it off and he cleared his throat "I mean... continue". "okay we will be coming back to that.." I said and Beau nodded a little confused. "Well I was in shock of course... I mean we have been best friends since were 8 years old and I had never even played with the thought of her and I being more" I nodded "and?" "and then... I-I kissed her". she said with a small smile and obvious blush rising on her cheeks. I smiled softly "you like Audrey Beau?" she shrugged "I think I really do... and I'm worried because what if this messes everything up between us... I couldn't stand the idea of us not being friends anymore... and we haven't talked about it since then because she's been in LA for her guest appearance on that show and... she comes back tonight". "Beau honey... you and Audrey know each other probably almost as well as your father and I" Harry said. "We may not have started off as best friends like you and her..." he said and I chuckled "no we had an 8 year old match maker" I teased and Beau shrugged giggling. "Look what I'm saying is... there are reasons you feel this way towards her right?" I said and she nodded "well name some for us" I said. She smiled "well she's one of the only people who can make me smile when I'm upset... aside you guys of course" she added making me smile. "She is so funny and when were together she constantly is making me laugh... I think its cute that she is shorter than me because I will tease her about not reaching top shelves or things... I like her blonde hair and her attitude is very brave and bold. She isn't scared to defend herself or her family... or me. She is very smart when she applies herself and she's talented. since day one she always made sure to be by my side and encourage me... she is really nice and caring towards everyone... but she is also the one who helps make sure I don't get taken advantage of... and she does things to me that I see you guys do to each other. Like the way Harry always completely wraps his arm around you and makes sure he's feeling you.. when Audrey puts her arm around me she makes sure I'm close to her. or she will smile at me just because. Or she thinks of me and will buy me something if she knows I would like it and... It's just when we kissed it was the perfect first kiss". I couldn't help but smile, I nudged Beau gently "Beau I think you answered your own question... talk to Audrey and tell her how you feel... you clearly already know that" I said smiling and she smiled softly nodding. "okay.. okay you're right... thanks dads" she said hugging us both. We both kissed her and she hurried out of the room. 

I looked at Harry and he smiled "see" I rolled my eyes "I get it Mr.Styles you're always right" he laughed "just come here" he said and I chuckled and sat in his lap. "So since Beau is going to La next week what do you think about you coming with me to France for my meeting about the shows im doing there... it will only take the first couple days in the mornings then we can spend some husband time together" I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck "I think I like that very much". He smiled his charming smile making my heart flutter and I leaned in kissing him softly.

Beau's P.O.V

I took a deep breath as I brushed my hair again and put on a little mascara. Audrey was coming over tonight so we could talk and I was really nervous. "Beau Audrey's here" My dad yelled and I took a huge breathe "okay you can do this Beau". I met her at the bottom of the stairs and we both smiled at each other "hi" "hi" she said chuckling "hi" I said again and she laughed "already said that love" I blushed "um lets go upstairs". We hurried to my room and I shut the door and turned around to Audrey standing by my bed looking at me. I fiddled with my fingers and walked towards her "so.." "so.." she said and I sighed sitting on the edge of my bed "how was LA?". She smiled "good shooting went really well" I nodded "great". She let out a small sigh and I sat there tapping my knees. "Beau if you want me to go first I can... If you're regretting the kiss then-" "no!...no let me go first please.. listen" she said as we made eye contact. "I never thought of us as more than friends until that night and now that's all I can think about... I really really like you and I have loved you as my best friend since we were kids and now I see that I love you as... well my girlfriend..." she smiled softly "you love me back?". I felt my cheeks burning red as my heart was pumping "yeah... I do". She smiled and we both slowly leaned in connecting our lips. She touched my cheek and the kiss slowly heated up. She slid her tongue across her bottom lip and our tongues grazed each other and I rested my hand on her hip gently and gripped it as she tugged on me. I slowly moved so I was straddling her and wrapped my arms around her neck. she put her hands on my hips as we both let out soft moans. I had never felt like this before but for some reason I just wanted more. "damn" I whispered as me and Audrey pulled apart from my dad knocking on the door. "you girls okay?" he asked from the other side of the door. "u-uh yeah we're just talking dad can we have privacy for a while it's important" "of course your dad and I are going to run to the store and get dinner be back in an hour or so we love you". "o-okay!" I yeled back and looked back at Audrey who was chuckling a small blush on her cheeks. I bit my lip and climbed off her "well um... I guess it's good he interrupted that got a bit heated fast" I said chuckling. She chuckled and looked at me "yeah it did... but listen.. Beau I really really do love you and... I want us to do things right but know that nothing will change the fact that you're my best friend" I smiled softly "I'm glad because you will always be mine". "So are we going to keep this a secret at school?" she asked and I furrowed my brow "no why would we" she chuckled "I just want to make sure you're comfortable". I smiled "Of course I am.. now can we kiss again?" she laughed "yes but first... come here". I sat in front of her and she took my hands. "Will you be my girlfriend.. officially" I smiled and nodded "yes... yes I will". We smiled at each other "now we can do this" she said as she leaned in and kissed me.
