49 - (Alt) I'm freaking out

Harry's POV
I stared at Louis as I was in bed and he was pacing back and forth at the foot of it, as he explained his absolutely crazy plan to me". "And that's why we have to get involved Okay? Beau is unsure of what to do, we don't know anything about this Lucas boy and Audrey of course is a very key point here", I chuckled "Lou I get it, but this sounds crazy. They're kids and this is just some weird little drama. Beau will just have to figure out what decision to make herself. Come on there's no way she won't go to Audreys family reunion right?" I asked him with a confident smile. He shook his head "I wish I could say that confidently but I think she has her mind set on the date", I sighed "well if that's what she decides we can't change it for her". Louis whined and plopped on the bed "but I really think we should just help her out", I snickered and dragged him up the mattress and into my arms. He laughed as he adjusted himself in my arms "Louis, we can't stalk Lucas around in a trench coat and wigs." I finally said bluntly and Louis rolled his eyes "when did you become such a buzzkill" I snickered and kissed his cheek. As worried as I was about Beau and Audrey I knew this wasn't the time to get involved, it's just a bit of drama amongst friends. It's a part of growing up and learning. We can't always go jumping in to fix everything, right? "How about we cuddle and go to bed, it's late and we have to be up early" I said as I kissed his head. He hummed and leaned into me more "okay can you rub my back?", I chuckled and said yes kissing him again. "I love you Hazz" "I love you more Lou".

I snickered as Louis tried to flip the pancake and he huffed annoyed that it was stuck to the pan. "Louis I told you to spray the pan" "I DID" he whined as he scraped the pancake onto the plate. I smiled and blew on it and took a bite "hey it's actually really good boobear". He smiled and laughed softly "really?". I nodded and he handed me back the spatula "I think you should take over again" he added and I swallowed the pancake happily. It was terribly burnt, but the best pancake ever. "Good morning dads" we heard Beau say as she made her way down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Morning sweetie" "morning Beau" we both chimed at the same time. I made three plates of pancakes and sausages, with syrup on the sides and sat down with my family. "So Beau, anything going on with school?" I asked as we all began eating, she swallowed her bite of food and drank some of her juice. "I have a test in science and a presentation in English, but that's about it I think" she said smiling. Louis gave me a look and I shook my head slightly, she ate her food hurriedly and checked her phone, she smiled "gotta go dads my rides here" she said getting up and grabbing her bag and shoes. "Is it Audrey?" Louis asked, she tapped her toes to push her shoes on "uh, no it's Lucas actually. He offered to drive me to school today", we glanced at each other but I smiled "okay be safe, have fun at school". She smiled and waved "love you both!". Louis and I yelled back we love you just before the door shut behind her. "Ugh!" Louis groaned when she was out of the house. I snickered "Louis you need to get ready to go to work, not meddle in our child's life". He rolled his eyes and carried his plates to the sink "yeah yeah, you can pretend to be all cool, calm and collected but I know deep down you know she's making the wrong choice". I sighed and stood up mimicking his actions with my plates. I pulled him into my arms "Lou. Of course I want to meddle. But she's a teenager and she's got to start learning these hard lessons. Dads can't always make the right choice for her, we have to trust that we have done our part in teaching her right from wrong". Louis sighed and smiled "you're right...", my eyes widened "I'm sorry what was that?". He snickered and playfully hit me "I said you're right for the thousandth time". I chuckled "how do those words taste when they come out of your mouth?" I jokingly asked. He bit his cheek before answering "like a mouthful of salt", I snickered.

"And you can show these to Louis later of course" Niall finished as he handed me Beaus new schedule for auditions and up coming gigs. "Speaking of how is Louis?" Niall asked as we both sipped our coffees. I groaned when I saw paps had pulled up outside the cafe Niall and I were at but I chose to ignore them. "He's good, he's a bit stressed out" I admitted. He hummed "oh does he have a charity coming up?", I chuckled "actually he's more stressed about Beau then anything right now". "Oh no what's our girl doing to him, I swear he's going to have a conniption the way he stresses over that girl" Niall joked. I chuckled "well I won't lie I'm a bit stressed about it too. She's got this argument going on with Audrey, she made a promise to her that she's breaking for a guy". Niall nodded his head "ohhh. Well hey I'm sure she will come around right?", I sighed. "I want to hope she will but I'm worried she's really going to Bail on Audrey. I mean Audrey seems really upset about this, which is fair. And I don't know if Beau just assumes she will be forgiven or what. But either way Louis wants us to get involved. I told him we shouldn't". Niall chuckled and I lifted my brow "what's so funny?", he shrugged "... I don't know I just thought you and Louis would be more freaked out and say something like; her making the decision already that dating or whatever is more important that trust and friendships and it could lead to her doing other things. Again not saying she will but that's usually how Louis rants about scenarios is it not?" Niall finally finished. I gulped and laughed nervously "ha ha yeah... that is something he would say", Niall must have noticed my shift in mood and he put his hand up "hey Hazz I'm not saying at all that any of that will happen. Beau is a smart girl much smarter than any of that. I was just poking fun Louis tends to assume the end of the world before anything else" he tried to ease. I smiled and nodded "yeah of course".

"LOUIS" I yelled as I walked into his office. I went straight from coffee with Niall to Louis. I was wiggin out now. What if Lucas did try to do something to Beau, I mean why is it so important that they go out on that specific day! And since when are solo dates allowed anyway, group dates only right? In fact why are we even letting her date. Niall may have been joking but now I'm freaking out more than before. Louis looked up at me confused by my entrance, or probably confused by my presence in general. "Harry what are yo-" "IM FREAKING OUT".
